Today we celebrate the strength, courage, and resilience of women everywhere.

Women are leaders, caregivers, innovators, peacebuilders, and changemakers.

From our homes to our communities, from classrooms to boardrooms, women continue to shape the world with determination and vision.

Yet, the journey toward equality is not finished. Many women and girls still face barriers to education, opportunities, safety, and basic resources such as clean water and healthcare.

On this International Women’s Day, let us reaffirm our commitment to a future where every woman and girl can thrive, lead, and achieve her full potential.

When women rise, communities grow stronger.
When women lead, societies move forward.

Let us continue to support, empower, and uplift women not just today, but every day.

Happy International Women’s Day!

In Monguno, under the just concluded lean season NHF Project, we took another bold step toward strengthening community resilience and promoting healthier living conditions.

As part of our commitment to sustainable water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) interventions, we officially distributed essential WASH materials to our trained and reformed WASHCOM members empowering them with the right tools to effectively manage water systems and maintain sanitation across the camp.

To support environmental cleanliness and structured waste management, the team received 10 waste bins, handwashing stands, wheelbarrows, rakes, shovels, rain boots, hand gloves, diggers, and sandbags, all critical tools for organized camp cleaning and improved hygiene practices.

For effective and quality water management, we also provided pipes, a gallon of chlorine, a flowmeter, a chlorine doser, and other vital water treatment supplies to ensure safe, clean, and properly treated water for the community.

This intervention goes beyond distribution it strengthens local capacity, promotes ownership, and ensures that communities are equipped to sustain safe water and sanitation systems long after the project cycle ends.

Last week, we convened a community dialogue session with key stakeholders, including implementing partners, community leaders, members of the community and persons living with disabilities.

The session focused on identifying the major drivers of child protection cases within the community and fostering inclusive discussions around these challenges.

Through collaborative engagement, participants developed joint recommendations and practical action points aimed at mitigating the identified concerns and strengthening child protection mechanisms at the community level.

The dialogue concluded with a renewed commitment from all stakeholders to work collectively, enhance coordination, and promote sustained community-driven efforts to ensure a safer and more protective environment for every child.

love goes beyond roses and chocolates.

At GOALPrime Organisation Nigeria, love looks like a child receiving a school bag for the first time.

It sounds like laughter returning to a classroom once filled with silence.

It feels like hope restored in communities rebuilding from crisis.
In humanitarian work, love is action.

It is showing up.
It is standing with the vulnerable.
It is choosing compassion every single day.

Because the greatest gift we can give is opportunity, dignity, and a future.

Love in action. Always.

A Better Humanity is Possible.

“Education is not a privilege; it is a right. And when we fail to deliver it, we fail a generation.”

— Gordon Brown, UN Special Envoy for Global Education

At GOALPrime Organisation Nigeria, this is more than a quote it is a responsibility.

Across the communities we serve, too many children still face barriers to safe, inclusive, and quality education. Conflict, poverty, displacement, and inequality continue to threaten their future.

But we believe every child deserves not just access to a classroom, but access to opportunity, dignity, and hope.

Through our education interventions from school rehabilitation and learning material distribution to child protection and community engagements, we remain committed to ensuring that no child is left behind.

The future of a generation depends on what we do today.

🔹 We call on partners, stakeholders, and community leaders to strengthen collaboration.
🔹 We urge policymakers to prioritize education funding and protection.
🔹 We invite supporters and advocates to stand with us in advancing safe and inclusive learning for every child.
Together, we can turn commitment into action and action into lasting impact.

When communities help design safety, schools become truly safer.

In Zamfara State, education stakeholders from Anka and Talata Mafara LGAs came together to validate findings from the School Safety Assessment under the ECW–FER Project.

The conversation went beyond numbers and reports.
We engaged in honest discussions on the real risks facing schools, with focused attention on the safety of girls and learners with disabilities, and explored practical, context-driven mitigation measures.

This workshop was not about documentation alone.
It was about turning evidence into action, strengthening community ownership, and building safer, more inclusive learning environments for children affected by crisis.

Strengthening Families. Supporting Children. Building Resilience.

On Monday, GOALPrime Organisation Nigeria successfully completed the second and final batch of relief distribution under the Borno State Lean Season One-Stop Resilience Network Programme, funded by the Nigerian Humanitarian Fund (NHF) through partnership with Solidarités International and Novel Alliance for Development Aid - NADA.

This batch marked the conclusion of our planned distributions, ensuring that vulnerable households received timely support during the peak of the lean season.

Each household was provided with essential food and non-food items, including:

✅ 25kg of rice
✅ 25kg of beans
✅ Semolina and spaghetti
✅ 5 litres of red oil and groundnut oil
✅ Mattress and mat
✅ Maggi cubes and salt
✅ Water kettle, bathing buckets, and oral hygiene kits

The distribution targeted parents and caregivers who participated in our monthly parenting sessions, with the aim of easing household pressures and strengthening caregivers ability to provide for their children’s nutrition, wellbeing, and protection.

By completing this second and final batch, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting families through critical periods and building resilience within communities.

With continued support, we can keep empowering families, strengthening resilience, and promoting safer, healthier environments where children can thrive.

GOALPrime Organisation Nigeria is taking action to strengthen communities and bring out-of-school children back into formal education.

We have officially flagged off the distribution of scholastic materials, desks, and chairs, while also handing over rehabilitated classrooms and safe dignified school latrines to the Local Government Education Authority.

This milestone reflects the practical impact of the Education Cannot Wait First Emergency Response intervention, delivered in partnership with Save the Children, Nigeria and made possible through funding from Education Cannot Wait.

Because learning thrives when children are supported with the right systems safe sanitation, functional classrooms, and access to learning materials.

This success was achieved with the strong support and collaboration of the Zamfara State Government, through key ministries and agencies including ZSUBEB, SAME, and the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (MBaSE).

Together, we are not just improving schools we are restoring hope and building pathways to a better future for every child.
