Green Generation Initiative (GGI) is a youth-led non-profit, non-governmental organization registered in Nigeria that focuses on nurturing an environmentally conscious generations through the implementation of peacebuilding, protection, MHPSS, education, empowerment and climate change programmes in northeast Nigeria. We promote community-based local solutions in addressing the Humanitarian needs,
Peacebuilding and Sustainable Development interventions to support the vulnerable communities affected by the armed conflicts and natural disasters. Our aim is to rebuild hope and enhance resilience for a new generation with determinations to make their society a better place for all “peaceful, and prosperous communities”. We are gender sensitive and inclusive organization and our primary targets for transformative activities are women, children and the youths in Northeast Nigeria. GGI is deeply committed to socio-economic development of Nigerian citizens and also, we are committed to United Nation Sustainable Development Goals and the Borno State Government vision of promoting sustainable environment, durable solutions in accordance with the Borno State 25 Years Development Plan and the 10 years Strategic Transformation Plan.
