I lost my younger brother Abu-Bakr (Bapparia) the weight of Abu-Bakr’s absence is heavy on my heart. But as we remember him, let's not focus on the length of his life, but on the incredible way he lived it. Abu-Bakr was not one to waste a single moment. He embraced life with a zest that was contagious. He keeps relationships effortlessly, his infectious laughter, his decorum, and the way he pops his head into the room and say hullo will stay with us forever.
Though his life was cut short, the impact he had was immense. He taught us the value of living each day to the fullest, of finding joy in the simple things, and of cherishing the people we love. Abu-Bakr’s passing was a result of Myocardial Infarction, also known as a heart attack. In his memory, I urge everyone to learn more about M.I. The more we know about the signs and symptoms, the better equipped we are to prevent tragedies. There are resources available, and together, we can raise awareness and potentially save lives. Abu-Bakr may be gone, but his spirit lives on in our hearts.
Let's honor him by living life as he did – WITH PASSION, PURPOSE, and A WHOLE LOT OF LOVE.
