IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

On behalf of His Royal Highness the Emir and his Council, Secretary to the Lere Emirate Council, Malam Muhammad Lawal Ahmed, wishes to inform the general public especially the people of Lere Ward that officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have arrived in Lere to commence the following activities:

✔️ Activities to be carried out:

Registration of new voters for youths who have attained the age of 18 this year.

Replacement of voter cards for those whose cards are lost or damaged.

Transfer of voting location (polling unit constituency) for those who wish to change their voting centers

Venue:
National Identity Card Office, near the Office of the Secretary of the Lere Emirate

Monday, March 23, 2026

10:00 AM

Members of the public are therefore encouraged to come out and take advantage of this opportunity.

A CONDOLENCE MESSAGE
On behalf of Lere Development Association we extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and the entire people of Lere Emirate over the painful loss of Ado Garba.
This loss is indeed a great one, not only to the immediate family but to the whole community. We pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgives his shortcomings, grants him eternal rest, and admits him into Jannatul Firdausi. May Allah also give the bereaved family, and all loved ones the strength, patience, and courage to bear this irreparable loss.
Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.
May Allah reward him with Jannatul Firdausi. Ameen.
