I created this concept commercial to explore what happens when you combine my experience as a filmmaker with today’s AI production tools.

And there’s something I want people to understand about AI filmmaking:

Generating the visuals isn’t the hardest part. The thinking is.

The research.
The ideation.
The visual references.
The character and wardrobe development.
The cinematography.
The prompt engineering.
The refinement.
The iterations.

That’s where the real creative work happens.

AI doesn’t replace the filmmaker.

It gives the filmmaker another set of tools to execute the vision.

I recently used Seedance 2.5 to create this short film teaser, and the level of realism is honestly impressive.

When you compare what we’re able to create today with what was possible just a few months ago, the progress is crazy. The movement, lighting, environments, characters and overall cinematic quality are getting better with every new generation of these tools.

And we’re still only scratching the surface.

I created a full tutorial showing how I made this teaser and broke down the workflow.
