After a rigorous application and review process, five exceptional student teams from Nigerian universities have been selected to advance, each tackling real infrastructure and safety challenges with bold, homegrown solutions.

PAVEx (Plastic-Activated Value Engineering for Excellence), University of Calabar
B.U.D.D.Y (Behavioral Understanding & Danger Detection for You), University of Cross River State
AL.T.A.R. (Autonomous Locator, Tracker & Analysis Rover), Federal University of Technology Owerri
S-SHM (Smart Structural Health Monitoring System), University of Ibadan
Each team receives NGN 1 million for prototype development, six weeks of mentorship by the Green Building Council of Nigeria, and the opportunity to access a share of the NGN 8 million grant pool.
