Celebrating Our Friends of Enactus ✨
Behind every Enactus Nigeria success story are unsung heroes who work quietly, advocate passionately, and carry the program as their own, even when no one is watching.
For 25 years, these Friends of Enactus have been the silent anchors ensuring our projects not only survive but thrive. The Friends of Enactus Award is given to individuals who have become true ambassadors of the program, championing it as a flagship, often without our knowledge, and ensuring it stands the test of time.
This year, we proudly recognize six remarkable individuals:
🌟 Mr. Yen Choi, Co-Founder & CTO at Netcompany - From volunteering countless hours as a judge and league coordinator to championing our mission in boardrooms and beyond, he has consistently shown up as a pillar of strength for the program, bringing not just his expertise, but his passion for shaping the next generation of leaders.
🌟 Mrs. Ruth Akpobaro, Senior Associate, Administration of SC Johnson, A Family Company - one of the key pillars behind our 25-year partnership with SC Johnson, ensuring its strength and continuity.
🌟 Mrs. Adefisayo Folashade, Former Commissioner, Lagos State Ministry of Education - an integral voice in government, holding us to the highest ethical standards and championing education-driven impact at scale.
🌟 Mrs. Uwa Osa Oboh, Head, Corporate Services at African Capital Alliance Foundation - a quiet but unwavering advocate who has kept Enactus Nigeria on the radar of her organization, ethical leadership and making sure opportunities for collaboration are never overlooked.
🌟 Dr. Ama Ikuru, Group Head, Leadership & Capability Development at Nigerian Content Development & Monitoring Board - a steady voice championing Enactus Nigeria as a pipeline for nurturing leadership and entrepreneurial talent, ensuring the next generation is always part of the conversation.
🌟 Mr. Debo Lukanmbi, Senior Manager, CSR & Sustainability at Chevron Nigeria - consistently rooting for Enactus Nigeria behind the scenes, creating pathways for our work to align with corporate sustainability priorities and gain the visibility it deserves.
To each of you, we say a resounding thank you for your years of dedication and advocacy. Because of you, Enactus Nigeria has stood strong for 25 years and with you, we look forward to 25 more years of transformative impact.
