WHY I JOINED ROTARY

Rotary, a club where service is placed above self. Where God is served through humanity. Where creating impact in others people’s lives matters.

I’m a young man who believes integrity, working diligently, and creating value what is fuels true success in life

My legacy is to prove that one can build wealth without being fraudulent or wayward, and exactly this is what I preach to every young fellow around me and whoever cares to listen

I found and joined rotary as it aligns closely with my beliefs, not just that, it performs them on a global scale — creating impact, touching lives, connecting people of diverse cultures into one global community that SERVES, in every sense of it.

There’s nothing more powerful than associating with people of like-minds to forge lifelong friendships, and together we take action to make the world a better place.

Lastly, as a Muslim, my religion also preaches fairness in all affairs, being truthful, and extending arm of charity to people in need. This alignment further pulls me closer to the club as I believe every effort channeled towards this course will contribute to my end goal of making Paradise, as that is the ultimate success for every man.

Good evening my fellow awesome Rotarians,

Why did I join Rotary?

One of the fascinating reasons was because I wanted to understand what rotary stands for, there’s a rotary logo at Pako roundabout heading towards isolo,Lagos that caught my attention and the Rotaract logo I always saw at the top of boards in lecture rooms at my higher institution.

My inquisitive mind made me do some research and I wanted to step aside from school(higher institution) politics to try a new cause at being a man with positive energy in the development of people and my community at large.

After I joined few fellowship with Rotaract club of Yaba college of technology(Yabatech) I decided to take the leap of faith and here I am a proud Rotary International member
