We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Jalo Waziri as the new President of AIFA Reading Society.

Having previously served with distinction as Vice President, Mr. Waziri brings a wealth of experience, commitment, and a deep passion for advancing AIFA's mission of promoting literacy and a culture of reading.

As he takes over from Professor Enase Okonedo, we look forward to this new chapter of leadership and the opportunities it brings to further expand our impact and reach more communities.

Every meaningful journey is shaped by leaders who choose to serve with purpose.

Today, we honour and celebrate Professor Enase Okonedo Enase Odu Okonedo as she concludes her tenure as President of AIFA Reading Society.

Over the years, she has been far more than a President since the inception of AIFA Reading Society. She has been a visionary, a trusted adviser, a generous supporter, and a steadfast advocate for our mission to promote literacy and build a stronger reading culture. Her leadership has provided strategic direction, strengthened our governance, and empowered us to reach thousands of children, young people, and adults through books.

Her impact lives on in the programmes we have delivered, the communities we have served, and the foundation she has helped build for AIFA's future.

Professor Okonedo, thank you for your wisdom, your generosity, your belief in our mission, and your years of dedicated service. Your leadership has left an enduring legacy, and we are deeply grateful for all you have done.

Please join us in celebrating her outstanding contributions and wishing her continued success and fulfilment in the years ahead.
