When your life doesn't look like mercy from Allah remember what Khidr did.
- Broke the boat
- Killed a young boy
- Built a wall for people who didn't treat him and Musa عليه السلام well.
Wisdom behind what didn't seem like mercy.
◼️ Khidr damaged the ship that belonged to a few poor people working in the sea. A king was behind them seizing every ship by force. So by making it defective, he had saved it for its owners.
◼️ Khidr killed the young boy because his parents were believers, and there was a fear that the boy would oppress them by his rebellion and disbelief. So Allah planned to take him away and give them another child instead who would be more righteous and kind.
◼️ Khidr built a wall in a city where people shunned him, because it belonged to two orphan boys in the town. A treasure was hidden under it which also belonged to them; their father had been a righteous man, and Allah intended to safeguard their treasure. Building the wall ensured that the treasure would be protected till they reached maturity.
What seems like "hardship" is part of a much greater plan for you. And no matter how it looks right now, in it is khayr for you, you never imagined. What eyes of the "seen" see as hardship, eyes of the "unseen" know the hidden blessing in it.
I know no one ever wants to face a crisis.
No one ever wishes to receive any painful, devastating news. But here’s a fact: There will come a day when will be on the receiving end of bad news.
As difficult as it may be, even in the storm of hardship, pain and loss, it is important to try and envision a future designed by Allah with all its possibilities, as this will go a long way in keeping your tawakkul alive, this attitude will help you survive and live your life in peace.
❝..Allah knows but you don't know.❞
{Surah Al Baqarah 2: Verse 216}
Breath, step back and submit to Allah's plan for you. Tell your heart, there is khayr in this that I cannot see right now. Khayr for my duniya and for my akhira.
We aren't Musa عليه السلام and we don't have a teacher like Khidr but we have Quran and in it are stories that will calm our worries, guide our path and establish our feet firmly in faith and hope.
The plan of Allah for you is ALWAYS GOOD.
❝You must convince your heart that whatever Allah has decreed is most appropriate and most beneficial for you.❞
- Imam al-Ghazali رَحِمَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ
❝The greatest reward comes with the greatest trial. When Allah loves a people He tests them...❞
[At-Tirmidhi]
🤲 May Allah grant us souls and eeman that can withstand hardships with yaqeen that something better is on the horizon - Allahuma ameen!
