In a world where moral and good values are gradually declining, we’ll be exploring honesty and its role in the making of a hero. 🌟

Because true greatness is not just about what we achieve, but the values we uphold along the way.

The Hero’s Path: Winning Through Honesty.
Building character for greatness.

DAY 5 |

We ended Week 1 with an unexpected but hilarious twist:

GARRI vs RICE — THE G.O.A.T DEBATE! 😂🔥

Students and facilitators formed two teams to passionately defend their favourite food. There were arguments, healthy banter, playful shades and plenty of cheering but all in good fun!

We also had a panel featuring past CTY participants and first-timers. Returning participants shared how CTY had impacted them, while newcomers spoke about their expectations and appreciated the efforts of their facilitators.

Our facilitators also took the panel, sharing their experiences and expectations for the participants.

Then, it was back to the classrooms for more learning before we officially wrapped up Week One.

DAY 1 | SETTING THE TONE 🚀

Young people trooped in from within and neighbouring communities. Online registrants were checked in, while new participants were registered on-site.

The day began with the National Anthem, National Pledge and TABIO Pledge, followed by a welcome address from the TABIO President.

Rules of engagement were communicated, with emphasis on zero tolerance for indiscipline, disrespect, tyranny and laziness.

Facilitators were introduced, and participants moved into their various classes to begin their CTY journey.

DAY 3 | STRENGTH, ENERGY & FUN 💪🏽

Day 3 was all about movement, energy and teamwork!

After our morning warm-up exercises, participants joined their preferred sports and games. From soccer, card and board games to table tennis, snooker, Ten Ten and Tug of War, there was something for everyone.

Traditional games brought back beautiful memories, while laughter and healthy competition filled the atmosphere.

Back in the classrooms, practical learning continued across the different skill sections.

DAY 2 | INTEGRITY & HANDS-ON LEARNING 🔥

We began with an inspiring motivational session by Mr. Jonathan Adubi of Sterling Bank, who spoke on INTEGRITY—reminding participants that character is just as important as competence.

Learning then moved fully into practical mode as participants engaged in hands-on activities across the various skill sections.

And the Catering Department certainly made its presence known! 😂 The aroma from the kitchen set the mood for an exciting day of learning and creativity.
