I know some of us think the use of Sanitary Pads is the only way to extract menstrual blood during periods.
During menstruation, there are several products that can be used to absorb or collect menstrual blood.
In addition to sanitary pads, here are some options;
1. Tampons.
• Inserted into the va**na.
• Absorb blood internally.
• Come in various absorbency levels.
2. Menstrual Cups.
• Made of medical-grade silicone, rubber, or latex.
• Inserted into the va**na to collect (not absorb) blood.
• Can be emptied, washed and reused for several years.
3. Menstrual Discs.
• Similar to cups but sit higher in the va**nal canal.
• Collect blood.
• Some are disposable, others reusable.
4. Period Underwear.
• Specially designed underwear with absorbent layers.
• Can be worn alone or as backup with other products.
• Washable and reusable.
5. Cloth Pads.
• Reusable version of sanitary pads.
• Made from fabric, washable and eco-friendly.
6. Cotton wool.
Insert a portion into the va**na.
Allow it stay for the period your menstruation last and remove on the last day.
Which among them do you use??
