Special Olympics Nigeria conducted a Healthy Athlete screening for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (PWIDDs) on Saturday the 20th of June 2026.

The event featured Healthy Hearing (ear) and Special Smile (dental) screening. A family health forum where families of PWIDDs received health education on proper methods of caring for their children’s ear and oral health was also conducted.

We thank our medical and regular volunteers, partners, and everyone who made the event a memorable one.
