Every May, Special Olympics celebrates Fitness & Sport Month, recognizing the power of sport to support health, fitness, and performance. This year’s initiative places a special focus on coaches, acknowledging their essential role and a goal of making it easier to access Fitness
Key activities include:
1. Challenge coaches to complete the new Fitness through Sport e-learning plan (FTS)

• May 14, 9am EDT: Fitness through Sport Playbook: Coach-Friendly Lessons for Healthier Athletes
• May 21, 9am EDT: Making Fitness Part of Practice: A Panel Discussion
• May 28, 9am EDT: You Don’t Have to Do it Alone: Building a Team to Support Fitness
3. We welcome coaches to share their stories learning experience and best practises with us.
