A Prayer for Nigeria 🇳🇬

Father, thank You for Nigeria.
Thank You for our land, our people, and the hope You have placed in our hearts for this nation.

On this Independence Day, we pray for Nigeria.

May Your peace fill our land.
May You give our leaders wisdom and the courage to do what is right.
May justice, integrity and compassion grow in our nation.

Heal what is broken. Strengthen our communities. Give our young people hope and opportunities to thrive. And help each of us play our part in building a nation we can be proud to call home.

Lord, let Nigeria become all that You have called her to be.

May our nation flourish, and may generations after us inherit a better Nigeria.

Happy Independence Day, Nigeria. 🇳🇬

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” — Psalm 33:12
