THE FUTURE IS BALANCED

Our president, Brenda Nwagwu | Media & Marketing Expert represented the association at the media briefing for the 2026 National Advertising Conference (NAC), themed “Repositioning the Marketing Communications Industry for the Next Frontier.”

Through NAC, we are creating a platform where industry leaders, professionals, brands, and partners can contribute to the conversations and collective actions shaping the future of marketing communications in Nigeria.

The future of our industry requires more than conversations. It requires participation, investment, and collective action. We therefore invite professionals, organisations, and brands to join us in Abuja this November by attending, sponsoring, or advertising at the conference.

Our President, Mrs. Brenda Nwagwu, represented MIPAN at the recent media briefing for the ARCON Special Recognition Awards (ASRA) 2026.

The briefing was hosted by Dr. Olalekan Fadolapo Olalekan Fadolapo, Director General of ARCON and our very own Mr. Yinka Adebayo Adeyinka Adebayo, Chairman of the ASRA Committee. It also brought together key industry stakeholders, including Mr. Lanre Adisa Lanre Adisa , Chair HASG and President of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria AAAN ; representatives of ARCON. ARCON ; members of the media; and other advertising industry leaders.

Beyond introducing the awards to the media, the engagement provided an important platform for conversations around recognising the people and organisations whose leadership, investments and contributions continue to move Nigeria’s advertising industry forward.

Mrs. Nwagwu, on behalf of MIPAN, expressed the Association’s support for the initiative and its willingness to work with ARCON and other stakeholders towards its success.

With the nomination window currently open, MIPAN members are encouraged to engage with the process and identify deserving individuals and organisations whose contributions to the industry should be recognised.

* Evidence submission - 14th to 19th of September
* Voting - 20th to 27th of September
* Jury Sitting/Selection- September 28th to 2nd October, 2026.
* Awards - 23rd October 2026.

ASRA presents another opportunity for us, as an industry, to celebrate impact while reinforcing the standards and values we want future generations of practitioners and advertisers to uphold.
