August is here… and we’re excited for what’s ahead! 🎉

Every new month gives us another chance to serve with intention, build meaningful connections, and welcome more people into the Rotary family.

This month, we shine the spotlight on Membership & New Club Development, we will celebrate the power of belonging, strengthen the bond we already have, and inspire the formation of new ones where service can thrive.

Behind every thriving Rotaract club is a community of people who chose to say yes to service, fellowship, leadership, and impact.
This August, let’s continue to share that experience with others.
*Invite a friend to a meeting, reconnect with a prospective member, mentor someone new, or simply tell your Rotaract story. You never know who might be inspired to join us.*

Here’s to an August filled with new faces, stronger clubs, meaningful connections, and lasting impact.

Happy Membership & New Club Development Month! 💗

Motherhood shouldn’t come with barriers, and conversations like this help us break them. 🤍

Today, we had an insightful and impactful webinar on “Motherhood Without Barriers: Factors That Can Result in Disability for Both Mother and Child.”

Together, we explored the importance of maternal and child healthcare, discussed preventable risk factors, and reinforced the role that awareness, early intervention, and community support play in ensuring healthier outcomes for mothers and children.

A heartfelt thank you to our guest speaker, Dr. Clara Kolo-Manma, for sharing her knowledge and expertise, and to everyone who joined us, asked thoughtful questions, and contributed to the conversation.

We’re also grateful to our amazing collaborators, Rotaract E-Club of Ibadan Pacesetter, for partnering with us to make this webinar a success. Together, we continue to create lasting impact through service and education.

Swipe through for highlights from today’s session. ✨

TIP 4: It takes a community to raise a healthy child. 🤍

As we conclude our Maternal & Child Healthcare Series, here’s one important reminder: you don’t have to be a parent to make a difference.

Whether it’s encouraging a pregnant woman to attend antenatal care, supporting a breastfeeding mother, advocating for childhood immunization, or helping a family access healthcare when they need it, every act of support matters.

Maternal and child health isn’t solely the responsibility of healthcare workers or parents—it’s a shared commitment. Together, we can help create a world where every mother receives the care she deserves and every child has the opportunity to grow, thrive, and reach their full potential.

Thank you for following this four-part journey with us. We hope these simple yet powerful reminders inspire conversations, encourage healthier choices, and strengthen our communities.

TIP 3: Behind every healthy child is a mother who deserves care too. ❤️

When we talk about maternal and child health, it’s easy to focus on the baby, but a mother’s well-being is just as important.

A healthy mother is more likely to have a healthy pregnancy, a safer delivery, and a child who thrives. Regular antenatal care, good nutrition, adequate rest, emotional support, and access to quality healthcare all play a vital role.

Supporting mothers isn’t just an act of kindness; it’s an investment in stronger families and healthier communities.

Let’s continue to create environments where every mother feels seen, supported, and cared for, because when mothers thrive, children do too.
