Urhobo Youth Empowerment Forum (UYEF) held a successful General Meeting hosted by our Otota (Spokesman), Mr. Paul Efekokha, at his Ajah residence, Lagos on Sunday, September 21st.

1. Empowerment Programme Approved! The Forum officially approved the Empowerment Programme focused on empowering four of her members financially to boost their businesses.

AUGUST 2025 GENERAL MEETING OF UYEF

The Urhobo Youth Empowerment Forum's monthly General Meeting for August was successfully held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos.

The forum extends its sincere gratitude to our host, Mrs. Oghenevwairhe Lucky, for her warm hospitality. We also want to give a special welcome to our newest member, Mr. Simon Isawode, who joined us at the meeting. We are thrilled to have him as part of our community.
We thank all members who attended for their valuable contributions and continued dedication to our shared mission.

URHOBO YOUTH EMPOWERMENT FORUM HOLDS JULY MEETING

The Urhobo Youth Empowerment Forum held its monthly meeting for July on Sunday, 17th, 2025, at the Surulere residence of the forum's Secretary, Mr. Victor Umukoro. The meeting, which commenced at 3:00 PM, was well-attended by members from across Lagos.

Members engaged in a fruitful discussion, sharing their thoughts and ideas on how to foster a greater sense of camaraderie and mutual respect. The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from all present to work together in love and unity, ensuring the forum continues to thrive as a platform for positive change.

URHOBO YOUTH EMPOWERMENT FORUM CELEBRATES WITH SOCIAL DIRECTOR, MR. OGHENEBRORHIE SODJE

The Urhobo Youth Empowerment Forum (UYEF) joyfully participated in the child dedication ceremony of their esteemed Social Director, Mr. Oghenebrorhie Sodje, and his family. The dedication took place on Sunday, July 6th, 2025, at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Goodness Parish, located in Alaguntan Town, Ajah, Lagos.

Following the church service, a reception was held immediately at Mr. Sodje's residence, also in Alaguntan Town, Ajah, Lagos, where members of the UYEF joined in the celebration with family and friends.

Urhobo Youth Empowerment Forum Holds Monthly Meeting and Celebrates Members' Birthdays.

The Urhobo Youth Empowerment Forum convened its monthly General Meeting on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at the residence of Mrs. Ufuoma Ozil in Awoyaya, Lagos.

The meeting saw a strong turnout of members who discussed various initiatives and upcoming projects aimed at empowering Urhobo youth. During the gathering, members also took time to celebrate two special occasions: the birthdays of the Forum's President, Mr. Victor Efekohka, and Mrs. Hope. Both were extended warm wishes and felicitations from the entire forum.

UYEF Monthly Meeting Recap (March 16, 2025)

The Urhobo Youth Empowerment Forum (UYEF) convened its monthly meeting on Sunday, March 16th, 2025, at Mrs. Choice Ladipo’s Ikorodu Road residence in Lagos. President Mr. Victor Efekokha welcomed members, expressing gratitude to the host and acknowledging the commitment of attendees. The Forum also warmly welcomed new member, Mrs. Erhimeajaro.

A significant part of the meeting involved reviewing and discussing crucial issues from the recent AGM. Members actively engaged in solution-oriented deliberations, strategizing the implementation of key resolutions to benefit Urhobo youth. The discussions reflected the members' strong sense of responsibility in advancing the Forum's goals.

In line with the Forum's constitution, a "Plate Washing" cash presentation was made to Mrs. Ladipo as a token of appreciation for her hospitality and for providing a conducive environment for the meeting. Mrs. Ladipo expressed her pleasure in hosting the UYEF.

The meeting concluded with remarks from the Forum's "Ose" (Father), emphasizing continued dedication and collaboration. A closing prayer was offered, followed by networking among members, including Mrs. Erhimeajaro.
