In my community, Lagos Nigeria, I noticed that women are improverished, uneducated and uncatered for. There where very few Successful Female entrepreneurs. This is a bother to me. I personally believe that Technology has made it easy for anyone who can learn how to leverage on it become very successful. There should be no Gender disparity in Success. Many women are very ignorant of Digital skills.

I was able to start a digital technology company with zero funding. I became financially empowered through digital skills. Even the educated young women in my community are digital illetrates. This is a very disadvantage position because the world is transcending into the Technology driven one. In the future, digital illetrates will have it really difficult. This spurred me into action. Fempower Initiative Africa FIA is a social enterprise that TEACH, TRAIN, EQUIP and EMPOWER WOMEN towards ENTREPRENUERSHIP -providing scalable and sustainable solutions LEADERSHIP -driving change in perspectives, redefining leadership TECHNOLOGY and INNOVATIONS
We organize tech meetups monthly where we young and middle aged women come to learn digital skills like web development, email marketing, podcasting, ebook publishing, how the internet works, Software Development, Cyber security which they can use to start a business or progress in their professional careers. ******************************************

Randomly stumbled on this article and video about me on the internet. (yep, I google myself from time to time lool). And It caused me to briefly reflect on my journey so far. I thought to myself, wow it’s incredible how one’s life can change in such a short time! It’s not been an easy journey but it’s been soooo worth it.

I remember feeling so unfulfilled in my life at some point in 2019 and I didn’t know how to seek out more or venture into the deep! I have come a long way from that and I definitely recognize how I’ve been very blessed, God’s mercy has been so evident and I don’t take it for granted!

I’m open to speaking with more women who are hungry for change and more. Maybe, you’re looking to apply for grad school or generally improve your life, I can totally relate.

Long story short, I‘m looking to share some of the learnings from these last chaotic crazing season of pruning that the Lord has taken me on and If you’re interested in an opportunity to have a chat with me about your career or life goals.
