ValU Trust Foundation Ghana, Liberia Coordinators Hold Strategic Continental Dialogue at International Headquarters in Lagos

The Coordinators of the ValU Trust Foundation (VTF) Chapters in Ghana and Liberia, accompanied by members of their respective national chapters, have paid an official visit to the Foundation’s International Headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria, for a high-level strategic engagement with the Founder and Presiding Officer, Amb. Dr. Unimuke Valentine.
The closed-door meeting provided a platform for strategic reflection, policy dialogue and coordination on key issues central to the Foundation’s Pan-African mission, with particular emphasis on advancing peace, sustainable development, good governance and social transformation across Africa.
Discussions focused on some of the continent’s most pressing challenges and priorities, including Silencing the Guns in Africa, responsible and accountable leadership, climate change, youth empowerment, peacebuilding and community development.
Participants underscored the importance of stronger African-led partnerships, collective action and visionary leadership in addressing challenges that continue to affect peace, stability and sustainable development across the continent.
The Ghana and Liberia Coordinators reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the objectives of ValU Trust Foundation within their respective countries. They also pledged to deepen collaboration with the International Headquarters in Lagos to develop and implement initiatives capable of delivering measurable impact in local communities.
A significant part of the discussions centred on youth empowerment, with participants emphasizing the need to equip young Africans with relevant skills, opportunities and platforms to participate meaningfully in Africa’s economic, social and political transformation.
The meeting also addressed the growing implications of climate change, highlighting the importance of environmental awareness, climate action and sustainable practices as essential components of Africa’s long-term development agenda.
Speaking during the engagement, Founder and Presiding Officer of ValU Trust Foundation, Amb. Dr. Unimuke Valentine, welcomed the Ghana and Liberia delegations and reiterated the Foundation’s commitment to strengthening partnerships and grassroots initiatives across Africa.
He emphasized the importance of building a network of committed African leaders and stakeholders capable of advancing peace, accountable leadership, sustainable development and inclusive opportunities for communities across the continent.
The strategic visit concluded with a renewed commitment by the Ghana and Liberia Chapters to strengthen institutional collaboration, support the Foundation’s continental programmes and contribute actively to the advancement of its Pan-African vision.
