Our environmental hero for today is Bilikiss! Bilikiss Adebiyi-Abiola is the CEO and co-founder of WeCyclers, a social enterprise that uses low-cost cargo bikes to collect recyclable waste from households in Lagos. WeCyclers incentivizes recycling by rewarding participants with points that can be exchanged for household items, food, and other essentials. This initiative not only helps reduce waste but also provides economic opportunities for low-income communities.

As fellow Nigerians, we should think of ideas that can solve problems around us. We should also adopt ideas that other Nigerians have brought to reality.
