Of the many groundbreaking milestones in Baptist Academy’s rich history, one proudly stands out: *it was the first school in Lagos to own a school bus* — a symbol of innovation and progress in Nigerian education.
That historic moment has been brought to life through a stunning illustration of the original bus, recreated by none other than *Mr. Tayo Fatunla, a celebrated alumnus from the Class of 1977* and one of the world’s most acclaimed illustrators.
As we commemorate *170 years of Baptist Academy,* we pay tribute to an institution that has nurtured generations of visionaries, scholars, and changemakers. Its legacy as a beacon of learning in Nigeria continues to shine brightly.
