Preye Tambou Call Upon Nigerian Youths On The Imminent Protest: Before We Protest

Esteemed Nigerian youths, in this critical moment, I address you not as a leader, but as a concerned citizen, a patriot, and a fellow youth. We stand at a crossroads, where the path we choose will shape the future of our beloved nation.

We are all in this together, experiencing the same challenges, frustrations, and disappointments. We all feel the pinch of economic hardship, the pain of insecurity and hunger, and the weight of poor governance. We are all victims of the systemic failures that have plagued our country for far too long.

Let's be real with ourselves for a second. We are living in tough times, and it is easy to feel like the country governance system is stacked against us but here is the thing: we can not give up. We can not lose faith in ourselves and our abilities. I know it's hard to see right now, but we have so much power. We are strong, capable, and talented Nigerian youths. We have the power to create our own opportunities, to pursue our passions, and to make a difference in our communities.

Protests, though a fundamental right, have implications that can either make or mar our collective progress, while they bring attention to pressing issues, they can also lead to unintended violence and destruction of property, damage to our infrastructure, disruption of economic activities and livelihoods, harm to innocent people, polarization and division among citizens, negative international perception and investment flight. For me, instead of engaging in protests, let us channel our energies into a more constructive engagement.

Let us engage in dialogue with Mr. President, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, government representatives and stakeholders, participate in town hall meetings and community discussions with our Zonal, State, Senatorial and local government leaders, utilize social media and traditional media to raise awareness and advocate for change, support and collaborate with organizations working towards positive change.

By doing so, we can build trust and foster collaboration between ourselves and the government, encourage inclusive decision-making and policy formulation, promote peaceful resolution of conflicts and grievances, enhance Nigeria's global image and attract investment.

We are all in this together, and together, we can break the cycle of negativity and focus on solutions, build a culture of constructive engagement and dialogue, support each other in our collective pursuit of a better Nigeria

Let us take control of our destiny and create opportunities for ourselves and others. In the midst of hardship, it's easy to feel hopeless, but let us encourage ourselves to channel our energies into building a better future, instead of resorting to protests and destructive behavior, explore innovative business ideas, leverage technology, entrepreneurship and create jobs for ourselves and others, acquire new skills, enhance our education, and become more competitive in the job market, engage in volunteer work, community service, and initiatives that address local challenges.

Let us use our voices to advocate for policy changes and social justice through peaceful, constructive means, and explore opportunities in agriculture, farming, and food production to address hunger and starvation. Let us choose the path of constructive engagement, patriotism, collective progress and build a brighter future for ourselves and generations to come.

To those who would seek to exploit the frustrations of our youth for their own selfish purposes, we say: Enough is Enough! Your actions only serve to further divide us, to harm our economy, and to undermine the progress Mr. President have made. You claim to speak for the people, but your methods only bring suffering to the very people you claim to represent. Mind you, Mr. President will not be swayed by your rhetoric or intimidated by your actions. He will continue to work tirelessly to address the challenges facing our youths and nation, igniting possibilities and creating opportunities for all, and building a brighter future for all Nigerian youths and generations to come.

My brothers and sisters, remember, the future of our country lies in your hands. You have the power to create positive change and become the leaders and change-makers our country needs. Don't let circumstances define you - define your circumstances through hard work, determination, and resilience.

Let us work together to build a better future for ourselves and for our country. Let us engage in constructive dialogue, let us find common ground, and let us move forward in peace and unity.

God bless Nigeria,
God bless us all.
