Cheating is never right — not in any form, not under any excuse.

And one of the most painful forms of it is getting involved with another person’s spouse. That is not just a mistake… it is a direct attack on trust, on families, and on the sacredness of a home.

What is even more troubling is how people now defend and glorify such actions. But pause for a moment and ask yourself honestly:
If it were your marriage… your home… your peace being destroyed by someone else, would you still support it?

Pain feels different when it becomes personal.

This is not about gender, not about taking sides, not about men versus women. Wrong is wrong — no matter who does it.

We must also ask ourselves a deeper question:
Why are we carrying bitterness everywhere?
Why do we project our past hurts into other people’s homes?
Not every relationship deserves to be destroyed because of what we went through.

To the younger generation — both male and female:
Do not allow yourselves to be deceived by hateful narratives and toxic content online. Not everything trending is truth.

Marriage is still a beautiful thing.
Yes, it requires effort, patience, and understanding.
Yes, not everyone will marry.
But that does not give us the right to disrespect or destroy the institution for others.

And if you ever find yourself in a relationship or marriage you cannot continue with, choose dignity over destruction.
It is better to walk away than to stay and ruin your character, your reputation, and someone else’s life.

Let us also be honest:
Why be married and still cheat with someone who cannot even stand beside you openly?
Why risk everything for something that has no future?

We must return to values.

We must return to respect.

There are some deaths that don’t just hurt…
They force you to sit down and think about life.

Alexx Ekubo was one of those.

What people don’t know about him…

To the world, he was:
The fine boy of Nollywood
The romantic lover boy in movies
Always smiling, stylish, and “living the life”

But behind that image…
was a man quietly fighting a battle.
