💜 SO, WHAT IS THE SOLUTION?

There are young girls trying to build a future with very little support.

They have dreams.
They have abilities.
They want to learn.
They want to work.
They want to become independent.

But sometimes they cannot afford the skill they want to learn.

And even when they learn a skill, they may not have the equipment, tools, digital resources, visibility or guidance needed to turn that skill into an opportunity.

Some may also be struggling to complete their education, making the journey even harder.

So perhaps the question shouldn’t only be:

“How do we help her today?”

We should also ask:

“What can help her build a better tomorrow?”

Education support.
Skills-training opportunities.
Starter kits and equipment.
Mentorship.
Digital access.
Visibility.
Work opportunities.

Not simply giving someone something and walking away.

Building a bridge from vulnerability to opportunity.

This is the kind of conversation we want to start.

For some children, going back to school means excitement.

For others, it can come with the worry of not having the basic things they need — a school bag, shoes, books, uniforms or stationery.

No child should feel less worthy because their family cannot afford everything.

Education is more than sitting in a classroom. It can build confidence, open doors and create opportunities for the future.

When we support a child’s education, we are investing in more than a school year.

We are investing in a life. 💜

Let’s continue creating opportunities for children to learn, grow and flourish with dignity.

Lord, protect every child whose voice cannot yet speak for itself.

Surround them with people who will love them, listen to them, and keep them safe.

Give them safe homes, caring adults, access to education, and the opportunity to grow without fear.

Heal the children who have been hurt.
Restore those who have lost hope.
And help us become people who never look away when a child needs protection.

May every child grow in safety, dignity and love. 🙏🏽

🌧️💜 WHEN THE RAIN FALLS, CHECK ON SOMEONE.

For many of us, rain means staying indoors. But for someone without a safe and secure place to call home, it can mean another cold, wet and difficult night.

This rainy season, let’s remember families, children and vulnerable people who may be facing flooding, inadequate shelter and basic needs.

If you are able to help, consider providing raincoats, umbrellas, blankets, warm clothing, food packs or temporary shelter support where possible.

You may not be able to help everyone, but you can help someone. 💜

🙏🏽💜 LET’S KEEP PRAYING FOR OUR CHILDREN.

There are innocent children experiencing abuse, molestation, neglect and exploitation, some in silence, some in fear, and some without anyone they feel safe enough to tell.

We cannot look away.

Let us pray for the child who is afraid to speak.
Let us pray for the child whose voice has been ignored.
Let us pray for the child who is hurting and doesn’t know how to ask for help.

But beyond prayer, let us also take responsibility.

Listen to children.
Believe them.
Pay attention to changes in their behaviour.
Teach them that they can speak to you.
Create safe spaces where they are heard and protected.

A child’s safety should never be treated as someone else’s responsibility.

Too many children are not safe, and we must not look away.

May God protect every innocent child, expose hidden harm, bring help to those who are suffering, and bring justice where children have been harmed. 🙏🏽

As children return to school, let’s remember that not every child is returning with everything they need. 💜

For some families, school expenses can be overwhelming.

A school bag, shoes, books, uniforms or even basic stationery may seem small to us, but to a child in need, they can make a world of difference.

If you are in a position to help a child prepare for school, please consider doing so.

Let’s make sure that lack of basic school supplies does not make a child feel forgotten or left behind.

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn with dignity. 💜

But to someone who has very little, that dress could bring joy, confidence, dignity, and hope.

A pair of shoes.
A bag.
Baby items.
A warm blanket.
A simple meal.

What may seem small to one person can mean so much to another.

Sometimes, children don’t have the words to explain what is happening to them. But their behaviour may speak for them.

⚠️ One sign alone does not automatically mean a child is being abused. But when you notice concerning changes, don’t dismiss them.

Listen to the child. Stay calm. Take them seriously. Keep them safe. Seek appropriate help.

Children deserve to grow up feeling safe, protected and heard.
