🌟 MEET OUR SPEAKER 🌟
We are pleased to introduce Adetoun Funmilayo Agboola, Special Adviser to the Ekiti State Governor on Special Education and Social Inclusion, an accomplished educator, inclusion advocate, and policy leader whose work continues to create meaningful change in the education sector.
With over two decades of experience spanning classroom practice, educational leadership, curriculum development, special education, and advocacy, has remained at the forefront of promoting access, equity, and meaningful learning opportunities for children with diverse learning needs.
A graduate of the University of Ibadan with both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Special Education, and currently pursuing her PhD, she has also acquired several local and international professional certifications in educational leadership, public policy, speech and language support, and inclusive practice.
Her professional journey includes serving in senior leadership at Greensprings School, Lagos, as well as founding Plumcare Educational Services, through which she has supported schools, governments, and families in building systems that truly support learners with disabilities.
In her current role with the Ekiti State Government, she continues to champion policies and initiatives that are improving the lives, opportunities, and visibility of persons with disabilities across the state.
We look forward to the wealth of knowledge, practical insight, and inspiring perspective she will be bringing to the 2026 AISEN Teachers Conference.
