🔥 The 2026 AISEN Teachers’ Conference was nothing short of extraordinary! It was a powerful gathering of passion, insight, and innovation shaping the future of education.

On Saturday, 9th May 2026, over 350 educators, school leaders, and stakeholders from AISEN and non-AISEN schools across Nigeria convened at Chrisland Schools, Lagos for a day of impactful learning and collaboration.

With the theme “Advancing Inclusive Education in Our Schools,” the conference featured engaging keynote sessions, and thought-provoking discussions on:

Get ready for insightful conversations and impactful learning as our amazing panelists take the stage at this year’s AISEN Teachers Conference.

🌟 MEET OUR SPEAKER 🌟

We are pleased to introduce Adetoun Funmilayo Agboola, Special Adviser to the Ekiti State Governor on Special Education and Social Inclusion, an accomplished educator, inclusion advocate, and policy leader whose work continues to create meaningful change in the education sector.

With over two decades of experience spanning classroom practice, educational leadership, curriculum development, special education, and advocacy, has remained at the forefront of promoting access, equity, and meaningful learning opportunities for children with diverse learning needs.

A graduate of the University of Ibadan with both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Special Education, and currently pursuing her PhD, she has also acquired several local and international professional certifications in educational leadership, public policy, speech and language support, and inclusive practice.

Her professional journey includes serving in senior leadership at Greensprings School, Lagos, as well as founding Plumcare Educational Services, through which she has supported schools, governments, and families in building systems that truly support learners with disabilities.

In her current role with the Ekiti State Government, she continues to champion policies and initiatives that are improving the lives, opportunities, and visibility of persons with disabilities across the state.

We look forward to the wealth of knowledge, practical insight, and inspiring perspective she will be bringing to the 2026 AISEN Teachers Conference.

🎤 MEET OUR SPEAKER | Oyinkan Afolabi

We are honoured to welcome Oyinkan Afolabi, Founder and Lead Consultant of Brainy Oaks Educational & Professional Consultants, to the 2026 AISEN Teachers Conference.

She has over 30 years of educational leadership experience in Nigeria and the UK. She is also a Certified Coach/Trainer for Women in Digital Business (WIDB), under the Microsoft and International Labor Organization (ILO) initiative, equipping and empowering women to build confidence, develop digital competencies, and thrive in today’s evolving digital economy.

Her experiences include being the Head Principal of Oakville Preparatory, the first Indigenous Head of the Junior School, Lekki British School, and the advisory board of The Learning Innovation Academy (TLIA).

She holds a degree in Education from the University of Lagos, diplomas in Autism, Dyslexia, ADHD, and Applied Behavior Analysis, and a Certification in School Management and leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is currently pursuing a Master’s of Education (Administration) at the American Intercontinental University. As a trainer, she has impacted over 1,200 teachers and professionals and still counting!
