A look back at Elevate Teen 2026 — two inspiring days of learning, connection, mentorship, and possibility. 🌟

This July, young people came together to hear from inspiring speakers, explore new ideas, build confidence, and connect with a community committed to helping them grow.

Thank you to every participant, speaker, volunteer, parent, and supporter who helped make the two-day experience meaningful.

We’re proud of what we created together — and even more excited about what comes next.

Blackstreet Foundation Partners with Root & Culture Canada for Elevate Teen

One of the sessions at the just concluded Elevate Teen 2026 by Blackstreet Foundation was It’s A Trap. Elevate Teen 2026 held July 3 & 4, 2026 in Ottawa.

Below is the cover of this session by Canadian Broadcasting Corporation(CBC):

It’s A Trap is a Roots and Culture Canada program aimed at warning children about the dangers of drugs, gangs and s*x trafficking. Youth gathered at the Margaret Rywak Community Building in Ottawa’s west end to hear presentations. Some say they feel safer because of it.
