Min: Rev Dr Mac Anthony
Topic: Uncommon By God's Choice.
Bible Text: 1 Peter 2:9,

There is something very special about being chosen, when there are many options and you have the privilege of being chosen it can cause you to have joy.

You're a chosen generation, you may not have been chosen by many people but God saw something in you that is peculiar to you.

What does it mean to be chosen?
Being chosen means that God saw a value in you, that He didn't see in another person.
Being chosen is a privilege not a reward. The reason God chose us is because He loves us.

The reason you were chosen is so that you can show forth the praises of Him who has called you, so you cannot be, live and speak like every other person.
Let's not abuse our identity, let people see us as children of God.

Being chosen means you carry responsibilities.
Your life is a message that is why you were chosen. You must never allow rejection in people make you forget that you've being chosen; People may say you're not good enough but God chose you; People's rejection cannot change God's choice.

You've been chosen by God so represent Him faithfully.
Uncommon means out of the ordinary, unusual, spectacular. So wherever you go stand out in the midst of many because you're uncommon.
