Our very first FREE Back Session on Adire was truly unforgettable 🌍✨

We had amazing participants join us from Lagos, Kano, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Ghana and many more cities around the world! The energy, curiosity, and passion for textile made it such a powerful session.

It was a beautiful introduction to textiles and fabrics breaking down the basics, understanding materials, and setting the foundation for creative excellence. 🧵🔥

Art and Crafts Series
This year, MasterArtClasses will partner with the Women and Youth Art Foundation, a non-profit organization founded in 1994, to deliver a series of free, online arts and crafts workshops for members of various communities.
The programme is designed to equip participants with practical creative skills, either as a foundation for small-scale enterprise or as a means of personal enrichment. All sessions are fully funded by both organisations, ensuring that participation is offered at no cost.
The 2026 programme will consist of five fixed workshop sessions, allowing for broad participation across multiple communities and partner groups. The series will commence with tie-and-dye instruction, introducing participants to accessible textile techniques.
