INTERNATIONAL WIDOW'S DAY: JUNE 23rd, 2026.

" CHRIST IN YOU, THE HOPE OF GLORY. " COLOSSIANS 1: 27

It's been a while since I penned my thoughts. There's been a lot going on behind the scenes and I'm only standing because God has been faithful in showing me Mercy.

I'm glad there were lots of activities on the 23rd June to Celebrate and encourage Widows all over the world. A lot of NGO'S I'm connected with held training programs in different parts of the country where Widows were empowered.

Today, I would like to encourage my sister widows to keep trusting God irrespective of any situation they might be experiencing. Acts 16: 19-34 tells us the story of Paul and Silas in prison praying and singing and there was an earthquake which shook the foundations of the prison and the doors were opened immediately.
Verse 26 states " ...everyone's chains were loosed. In effect, all the prisoners were free to run out of the prison. All this was by Association and the God of Paul and Silas showing His Might and Mercy.

So , my dear Sisters, who do you associate with? Who are you Hanging out with? Is your God able to save and deliver you and your children from the trials and temptations of the world or you are in association with friends and gods that have hands but can't move?

I encourage you to Hang Out with JESUS and surround yourselves with Godly friends and colleagues who can build, support, and show you Agape love without you compromising your faith.

The Prison warden and his entire family were saved that night because of proximity to Paul and Silas. Who have you influenced with the Word of God recently? It's time to also share God's grace with others. As you do so, you will ultimately have testimonies of deliverance, healing, provision, peace and progress for you and your children in Jesus Mighty Name Amen. JAMES 1: 27 States " Pure and Undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit Orphans and Widows in their trouble , and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. "

The verse above is for everyone who has a widow in their family, neighbourhood,church or organization, or office. How do you relate with them? Do you avoid them as though they had the plague, or look down on them as inconsequential people? Do you talk harshly to them and despise them and their children?
I would like you all to have a rethink going forward and show compassion to widows and their children as God always rewards those that care for widows and orphans.

# Widows need support
# widowhood is not the end of the world
# let's pray for mercy to preserve husband's all over the world safe. Wars are creating more widows. We need Peace in the world.
# Sudden sickness, accidents etc produces more widows. Let's pray for mercy .

Thank You Lord for your mercy over widows all over the world. Faithful Husband and father.

Widowhood is not a stop sign. Every widow can still live a fulfilling and impactful life with God's grace and support from a community of family, friends , and society.

GOD'S GREAT GRACE AND GLORY. THE 3 G'S.

Stepping out for this months physical outreach to 20 widows in Kabusa axis. The 10 widows in Karu have their fellowship by themselves now while I round them up with short words of encouragement and prayers online.

Alternate Wednesdays are fellowship days. Still a long way to go but God has been faithful. I'm finding it difficult to minister and take photos or record at the same time but I'm learning, unlearning and re-learning.

SOME THINGS WIDOWS NEED.
James 1:27..."Religion that God Our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."

Happy New Month Everyone. It's been a while since I posted .I hope you are all doing well.

As a widow, I have realized that there are many things a widow needs so I will highlight just five today in the hope that it helps you better relate with widows and reach out to them.
1. A Listening ear without judging them.
2. Respecting their grief journey and allowing them mourn as they please in their own way..After all,they are the ones grieving. God is profoundly concerned about them as seen in Psalm 68:5.."God Is a father of the fatherless ,a defender of widows.....in his holy habitation."
3. Widows need you to pray with and for them and their children.
4. Checking up on her occasionally even with just a phone call.
5. Inviting her to social gatherings so she doesn't go into depression from loneliness. Most times widows fill the negative and unfriendly vibes from people and might end up becoming a recluse.

PLEASE CHECK UP ON ANY WIDOW YOU KNOW....IN YOUR FAMILY, COMMUNITY, CHURCH, WORK PLACE. GOD WILL SURELY BLESS YOU FOR IT. THANK YOU.
