Build Your Spiritual Capacity

Before God increases your influence, He first develops your character.

Many people pray for greater opportunities but neglect their spiritual growth.

Spend time in prayer.

Study God's Word.

Practice obedience.

The stronger your relationship with God, the greater your capacity to handle His blessings.

Your public impact will never be greater than your private walk with God.

πŸ“– John 15:5 "If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit."

Mediocrity Is a Choice

Good day, church family.

Many people think mediocrity is about a lack of talent.

It isn't.

Mediocrity is settling for less when God has called you to more.

God has placed gifts, abilities, and opportunities in your hands.

The question is whether you are developing them or simply maintaining the status quo.

Don't become comfortable with average.

The world rewards excellence, but God also expects faithfulness and growth.

Today, ask yourself: What area of my life have I stopped improving?

Remember, every great achievement begins with the decision to become better.

πŸ“– Proverbs 22:29 "Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings."

Happy International Day of the Girl Child to every wonderful girl in the Lekki Baptist Church family! 🌸

Today, we celebrate youβ€”a precious creation of God, wonderfully made, uniquely gifted, and created with a divine purpose.

Never allow anyone to make you believe you are ordinary. God has placed greatness within you. Your age does not limit your potential, and your background does not define your future. As you grow, choose to walk in wisdom, purity, kindness, integrity, and faith.

Dream big.
Study diligently.
Respect yourself and others.
Stand for what is right.
Love God wholeheartedly.
Use your gifts to make a positive difference wherever you go.

Remember, you are not just the future of the Churchβ€”you are an important part of God's work today.

πŸ“– 1 Timothy 4:12
"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity."
May God protect you, strengthen you, guide your steps, and raise you to become godly women who will impact your generation for Christ.

Invest in Yourself

Capacity does not increase automatically.
It grows intentionally.

If you want different results, you must become a different person.

Read good books.
Develop new skills.
Improve your communication.
Strengthen your spiritual life.
Take care of your health.

Spend time with people who challenge you to become better.

Growth is never accidental.

It is always intentional.

The more you develop yourself, the more useful you become to God and to others.

πŸ“– "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved." β€” 2 Timothy 2:15

Excellence Is a Christian Lifestyle βœ”οΈ

God is excellent in everything He does.πŸ™

As His children, excellence should be our standard.

Whether you are a student, business owner, parent, professional, or church worker, do your work with excellence.

Don't be known for doing the minimum.

Be known for integrity.βœ”οΈ

Be known for preparation.βœ”οΈ

Be known for reliability.βœ”οΈ

Remember, your work is your testimony.πŸ™

People should see Christ through the quality of what you do.πŸ™

πŸ“– "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord." β€” Colossians 3:23

Stop Burying Your Potential.

Have you ever noticed that the servant who received one talent did not lose it?

He simply buried it.

Many people are not failing because they lack ability.
They are failing because they refuse to develop it.

Every gift that is ignored eventually becomes ineffective.πŸ™

Read.βœ”οΈ
Learn.βœ”οΈ
Improve your skills.βœ”οΈ
Seek godly mentors.βœ”οΈ
Challenge yourself.βœ”οΈ

Your future is connected to your willingness to grow.πŸ™

Don't bury your potential because of fear, laziness, or comparison.✍️

God expects increase.βœ”οΈ

πŸ“– "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others." β€” 1 Peter 4:10

You Were Created for More

Good morning, church family.

This week, we begin a new series titled "Capacity Building: Overcoming Mediocrity."

In Matthew 25, Jesus tells us about a master who entrusted talents to his servants according to their ability.

This teaches us that God has already deposited gifts, abilities, and potential in every one of us.

The question is not whether you have been gifted.

The question is: What are you doing with what God has given you?

Mediocrity settles for "just enough."
Excellence asks, "How can I become better?"

Never allow comfort to become the enemy of your calling.

God did not create you merely to existβ€”He created you to make an impact.

This week, decide to grow beyond your excuses and become the person God designed you to be.

πŸ“– "To one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, each according to his ability." β€” Matthew 25:15

Use Your Keys Wisely

Thank you for worshipping with us today.

As you step into a new week, remember that God has entrusted you with the keys of His Kingdom.

Use them wisely.
πŸ”‘ Pray faithfully.
πŸ”‘ Study God's Word.
πŸ”‘ Walk in faith.
πŸ”‘ Live in obedience.
πŸ”‘ Serve with humility.
πŸ”‘ Share the Gospel boldly.

The world needs believers who will faithfully use the authority and opportunities God has entrusted to them.

πŸ’¬ Reflection
Which Kingdom key do you need to use more intentionally this week?
πŸ“– Colossians 3:17
"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."

πŸ™ Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for entrusting us with the keys of Your Kingdom. Help us to live as faithful ambassadors of Christ, using every opportunity to glorify You, serve others, and advance Your Kingdom. In Jesus' name, Amen.

The Key of Humility and Service

In God's Kingdom, greatness is measured by service.
Jesus, the King of kings, humbled Himself and served others.

When we serve with humility, we reflect His heart and open doors for God to work through us.
As you prepare for worship tomorrow, ask God to make you a servant who brings hope, encouragement, and love to others.

πŸ“– Mark 10:45
"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve."

02/10/2026

The Key of Obedience

Blessings often follow obedience.

God is not looking for perfect people; He is looking for willing and obedient hearts.
Obedience demonstrates our trust in God, even when we do not fully understand His plans.

Today, ask yourself:
Is there an instruction from God that I have delayed obeying?

πŸ“– John 14:15
"If you love Me, keep My commandments."
