By now, many of us understand that the great offense in Eden was not an apple, nor any secret act of intimacy. The rupture between humanity & God came through something far more subtle, far more accessible, and far more dangerous: KNOWLEDGE embraced through disobedience. (Gen. 2:17)
Knowledge in itself is not evil; it is a tool, a light, a compass.
But the real question, the one we rarely ask, is this:
What kind of KNOWLEDGE has the POWER to pull a human being out of the CONSCIOUSNESS of God?
What information can make a person forget their divine center?
Yesterday, we explored the truth that Lucifer is not the devil and that disobedience, by itself, has overthrown kings, prophets & entire nations.
Today, we shift our focus from the act to its consequence—because what separated Adam & Eve from God was not the devil at all.
The force that stands between humanity and God is an entity in its own right, introduced simply as “the knowledge of good and evil.”
It did not need horns, a hiss, or a shadowy figure.
It sat silently in the midst of the garden neutral, patient, potent yet powerful enough to disconnect humans from the divine flow.
Read Genesis 3:3–5 carefully.
You’ will notice something profound: the conversation was about the tree, but the real adversary wasn’t speaking.
The woman & the serpent discussed the fruit, but the true separating power was not the serpent, it was the KNOWLEDGE itself.
The disconnection did not come from the devil’s hand, but from the human heart’s decision to embrace a kind of knowledge/spirit, it was never prepared to carry.
