Abisola Omisore, Vice Chairman of Ikeja LGA (Supervisor of the CBM Ikeja), alongside the City Boy Coordinators of Ojodu LCDA, Ikeja, and Onigbongbo, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. David Olusegun Odunmbaku David Olusegun Odunmbaku, and the Vice Chairperson, Alhaja Kafayat Funmilayo Layeni Kafayat Funmilayo Layeni.
The visit provided a valuable platform to formally introduce the Ikeja City Boy Movement and to engage in meaningful dialogue around youth development, civic responsibility, and the urgent need to strengthen grassroots sensitization and empowerment for a more progressive Nigeria.
Rich insights and impactful ideas were shared on collaborative pathways for youth inclusion and leadership development. A key resolution from the engagement was the collective commitment to intensify efforts toward ensuring that every eligible young person in Ikeja obtains their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
It was a productive and forward-looking engagement, reinforcing a shared vision and renewed commitment to driving sustainable impact across our communities.

David Olusegun Odunmbaku (Chairman, Ojodu LCDA) and Alhaja Kafayat Funmilayo Layeni (Vice Chairperson, Ojodu LCDA).
During the meeting, the Ikeja City Boy Movement was officially introduced. There were in-depth conversations on the importance of educating, sensitizing, and empowering youths for a better Nigeria.
Impactful knowledge and ideas were shared, with a collective resolution that every young person in Ikeja must obtain their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) ahead of the upcoming general elections.
