My Friends V!SA was Rejected yesterday just because of one small Mistake.
Come and see the way she was crying

In this Life ehn,
You see those little things wey you no gree take serious, na dem dey always cause problem for most people at the point of doing great things.

She said Atanda, they denied my V!SA just because my surname was wrongly written as First Name on my documents.

For dis Nigeria eh, We are used to the arrangements of our names as Surnames first, followed by other name and first name.

But during documentation, dem sabi scatter this things sometimes and dem sabi change the name too

But if you understand it now, you will never miss it again.

So allow Atanda break it down for you

LAST NAME/SURNAME ; This is your Fathers Name or Family Name.
No let am confuse you, Surname and Last name mean the same thing

OTHER NAME/MIDDLE NAME; This is that name you have that people don't call you regularly

FIRST NAME; This one na that name wey everybody dey call you daily

MOTHERS MAIDEN NAME; This is the surname of your mother before she got married to your father.

STATE OF ORIGIN; This is the State where your father comes from.

STATE OF RESIDENCE; This is the State where you are staying currently as at that time you are filling that form.

GUARDIAN; your guardian can be anybody not necessarily your parents.
You can choose anyone to be your your Guardian as an adult. So na u sabi who u wan choose to be your Guardian

I have seen someone whose surname on BVN is placed as First Name on NIN. 😀

Wahala...

The truth is that, once you make such mistake.
The two documents does not belong to you anymore cos they bear different names and can't be used to process anything meaningful without you correcting it first.

So don't make this mistake
In some c0untries, you can be arr£sted and imprins0ned for this mistake because they will assume you f0rged the documents

And your ignorance won't save you because all over the world, ignorance of the law is not an excuse

“I Have Cãged The Minds And Spirits Of My Members. Even When I Iηsυlt Them, They Will Be Looking And Laughing Like Mυmυ” ~ Evang. Ebuka Obi Boasts In His Church

In his words: "Because there are so many preachers when they are preaching, nobody is listening to them.

So before I preach to you, I will first of all chain your spirit to listen to what I'm saying before I come back to preach to you. I have already chained the spirit of people I'm speaking to, because somebody plants a seed, some seed, he planted dîed. And I don't want to plant a seed that will dîe before I come out so I caged your spirits.

I have spent hours in the presence of God, so when I come out and speaking to you, you wouldn't know what is magneting you and your spirit. Even when I insúlt you Instead of you to be angry with me over what I say, you will instead be will be laughing, it's a divine magnet.

Your heart has been controlled and chained because some of the word I speak here supposed to make all of you to be angry, but you end up laughing like a mumú because your spirit has been controlled in my spiritual altar. A na aru ya aru (speaking in Igbo) it is spiritual.”

Nigerian pastor suspends offering collection amid economic hardship - advice pastors to stop collecting offerings for now

A Nigerian pastor has thrilled his church members as he announced the suspension of collection of offerings due to economic hardship.

In the video which went viral on Saturday, the cleric was heard telling his congregation that due to the current state of the country, offerings will no longer be collected for the time being

He also urged “all pastors all over the world” to stop collecting offerings for the time being.

He said “Stop collecting offering for now because of the situation of the country. For now, we are pending the offering.

“In our church, we are not collecting offering for now. Come and serve your God, go, until pressure comes down. It is not easy, you are going to your work tomorrow…

“To all pastors all over the world, stop collecting offering for now.”

“Judiciary, Not INEC, Is The Problem With Nigeria’s Democracy” ~ Peter Obi

Peter Obi said the judiciary is the biggest threat to Nigeria's democracy, and not the Independent National Electoral Commission.

Obi, who was the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 election, said this while delivering a keynote speech at the fifth memorial of late Justice Anthony Aniagolu at the Godfrey Okoye University in Enugu.

The former Anambra governor said justice in Nigeria “goes to the highest bidder” and has become “commodified”.

“While the judiciary, today, still boasts of a few outstanding judges, there is an undeniable decline in our judicial system,” he added.

“This decline poses a significant threat to the future of Nigeria. Justice is increasingly commodified, and delivered in favour of the highest bidder.

“Whenever democracy is discussed, fingers point to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as the problem. But INEC is not the problem, instead, the judiciary is. The judiciary is the biggest threat to Nigeria. If our judiciary is effective, our businesses will thrive.

“When the rule of law is compromised, the most vulnerable members of society are disproportionately affected, and the fabric of our society begins to fray. The integrity of our institutions, the protection of human rights, and the stability of our nation are all jeopardised.

“The rule of law is the highest intangible and most valuable asset of any society, and we must work tirelessly to protect and preserve it. We must prioritise the pursuit of justice above all else.

“I emphasised the urgent need to revitalise our judicial system by safeguarding its independence and promoting the values of character, competence, capability, compassion, and integrity among our jurists, as well as within our political leadership. “By doing so, we can ensure justice and fairness prevail as we endeavour to build a better Nigeria for all.

“Nigeria has become a country where anything goes. There is no rule of law, there is almost no judiciary. Everybody could be pushed down because there is no rule of law.

“Because the judiciary has become commercialised and depends on how much one pays, it has become difficult to get true justice in the judiciary.

“At any point in time where the judiciary is not working, the society suffers.”

This comes after Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi challenged Bola Tinubu’s election all the way to the supreme court.

On October 26, 2023, the apex court dismissed the appeals of Abubakar and Obi and affirmed Tinubu as president.

Our rice kept increasing after we gave tithe from it ~ Pastor Enenche

The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Abuja, Paul Enenche, recently stirred controversy when he stated that a bag of rice he had bought for his family started multiplying after his wife gave out one-tenth of it as tithe.

According to him, after giving out a portion of the rice as tithe, they continued consuming the remaining, but it kept increasing. He stated that the development scared his wife, who gave out the remaining rice in the bag.

He said, “When my wife and I got married, she was tithing food. She would remove one-tenth of the food and give it out. One day, we had rice that did not finish. The more we took out of it, the more it increased.

“She became afraid at the end and dashed out the remaining. ‘What kind of food is this that would not finish’, she exclaimed.”

Pastor Enenche added that he had been paying tithes (one-tenth of his income) since his days as a student in the university, and would continue to do it.

He stated that that as a student, he was given a monthly allowance of N30, out of which he often paid tithe of N3.

Speaking further, he stated that he did not start paying tithes, because he wanted to become a pastor, but because it was a principle he read about in the Bible.

“We have been practitioners of this thing (tithes) since 1986, from the higher institution. N30 was what was given to me in a month, and N3 was my tithe. And, it has continued endlessly.

“I am telling you what I was taught. I was not doing it, because I wanted to be a pastor; I saw it in the scripture. When a man has evidence, it is not at the mercy of one who argues.”

My Reply;

Sorry for what y0u are pass!ng thr0ugh

First of all, y0u and y0ur husband must be ab0ve 25 years of age and must be 21 years 0lder than th£ child y0u wish to ad0pt.

Meaning if y0u want to ad0pt a child that is 5 years 0ld, y0u and husband must be ab0ve 26yrs of age.

You and y0ur husband must be clean and not c0nvict£d of any cr?m£ before

You and y0ur husband must have the fin@ncial capac!ty to take car£ of the child

In state like Lag0s, you can 0nly ad0pt a child bel0w 7 yrs of age.

The Fam!ly c0urt is the 0ne in child of grant!ng you ad0ption of a ch!ld
