THE NIGERIAN YOUTHS: EMBODIMENT OF CREATIVITY, SOURCE OF INVENTION, CATALYST FOR RELENTLESS IMPACTS AND DEVELOPMENT IN THE WORLD

Nigeria as the most populous African nation with large numbers of active youths population contributing to global human capital supply across different sphere.

In Africa, the Nigeria youths have set a standard and earned a badge of creative force differentiating them from others in west africa and the world at large. although, many has failed to recognize and celebrate the positive contributions they've made in making the world a better place but concentrating on the negative stereotype generated from the actions of few caught in the entanglement of drug trafficking and cybercrime.

In terms of technology and health, tech giants and medical industry in the world today cannot overemphasize the significance of Nigerians to their companies whether in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada and other parts of the world, competing with Chinese and Indians in terms of positive contributions, innovations and new approach to problem solving (cost effective-lasting solution- application).

In the world of robotics engineering, a Nigerian named Silas Adekunle (26years old) still holding the record of highest paid robotics engineer. In the field of medicine and science, a young Nigerian named Emeka Okorocha has achieved another milestone in the United Kingdom paving way and giving hope to the next generation that their dreams can come through with clear vision, determination, hard work, sacrifices, perseverance, humility, education and purposeful living.

In the world of entertainment and governance, the afro-beat genre established by Nigerians have taken over the global communities and festivals, with immense request on radio shows, television programmes, events and several accolades to young musicians of Nigerian nationality. Damini Ebunoluwa ogulu popularly known as Burnaboy have set a global record for an African artistes selling out stadiums in the United States, United Kingdom, in the Carribeans and other continents, earning massively from digital streams and winning awards. David Adeleke, another young Nigerian have impacted the global music scene with his afro-beat music likewise others dominating the world entertainment scene (Israel Adesanya, Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Anthony Joshua e. t. c)

In governance outside Nigeria, Nigerians were recently elected as office holders in the United States and Australia. Nigerians have won elections into various elective positions abroad. A United States-born Nigerian, Dr Oye Owolewa, District of Columbia, Chiaka Barry, Ginninderra District, Australia, Segun Adeyina, Georgia, USA and Yemi Mobolade, Colorado Springs, USA.

While the mainstream media and their outlets are painting the image of "Young Nigerian fraudsters arrested" and the stereotyping of "Nigerian Drug trafficking syndicate busted", We young Nigerians can own the narrative and tell our stories when it obvious that the world is not fair and not portraying us positively, we should remember that the pen is more mightier than the sword, and the history of the animal kingdom will continue to favour the hunter until the animals decided to have their own historian.
