Turns out blood donation has been causing some pretty serious problems.
3 months wait period?
Just one pint at a time?
Not able to do it everyday?
Yeah… we’ve heard it all. 😔😂
We love listening to them.

Some calendars mark holidays. Some mark survival. ❤️
A calendar measured in transfusions, not days, to keep life moving forward.

For people living with thalassemia, regular blood transfusions can be a vital part of staying alive and living well. Every transfusion represents another day, another milestone, another tomorrow.

Donate blood.
Give someone another tomorrow. 🩸

September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month.
Blood cancer and thalassemia are different illnesses with different treatments, but they wait on the same thing— donated blood when treatment gets hard.

You give once, and it travels somewhere you will never see, to someone you will never meet, into a fight that may look nothing like the one you pictured.

Tag someone to donates today 🩸
