Strap Fam Support Foundation Serving Humanity with Compassion, Dignity, and Love.

The visit Part 1.

So at Strap Fam Support Foundation. Most times our challenge is not really about doing charity but the distribution process.

On several instances it always ended up chaotic,it starts nicely and somewhere along the line, some greedy group will just come up and disrupt the smooth process to enable them do away with most of the items we are distributing.

So usually our outings are in different locations, we hardly will go to the same location twice because our experience and also because we want to reach out to more people.

On the 14th of May we went out, when we were planning for an outreach, one of the team members suggested a place he said we will have more less privilege.

First I got scared because I was imagining another rowdy scene as the previous or probably worse but guess what, I was shocked to my bone marrow.

First when we arrived, some of the team members went down to survey the area and came back. They mentioned that they had workers there that would assist us, I was wondering how?

Before I could say jack the men had started assisting us to unpack the food we brought and they said we should take it in.

This time around they were not just on the streets but had a building for them. When we entered the gate , one of the workers led us, he said they had various sections of people with disabilities, first, the Lame section , the blind and the lepers.

What surprised me was how organized they were, they did not just sat down according to their situations, they comported themselves very well and even had kings in various section. Me kings... ??? To be continued!

The Strap Fam Support Foundation strongly condemns the abduction of students in Oyo State, Nigeria.

This unfortunate act is not only a violation of the fundamental rights of innocent children but also an attack on education, human dignity, and the future of our nation.

The kidnapping of students is an inhumane and cruel act that subjects young people, their families, and communities to fear, trauma, and uncertainty. No child should be deprived of the safety and security required to learn and grow.

We call on the perpetrators to immediately and unconditionally release all abducted students unharmed. We also urge security agencies and relevant authorities to intensify efforts to ensure their safe rescue and to bring those responsible to justice.

The Strap Fam Support Foundation stands in solidarity with the affected students, their families, and the people of Oyo State during this difficult time.

We remain committed to advocating for the protection of children, access to education, and a society where every child can pursue their dreams without fear.

Together, we must reject all forms of violence against children and work towards a safer and more secure Nigeria.
