Where There Are Oxen, There’s Increase ✨
Recently, I was led to read Proverbs 14:4:
“Where no oxen are, the crib is clean, but much increase is by the strength of the ox.”
At first, I didn’t understand it. I even researched it — still, nothing clicked — until God gave me this personal interpretation.
Think of the parable of the talents. One servant was given ten, another five, another one. Those who put theirs to work saw increase. The one who hid his had nothing to show.
That’s what this scripture means to me. God has put so much in us — gifts, skills, ideas, potential. But they won’t multiply if we don’t put them to work. Don’t despise your small beginnings. Don’t bury your talents in fear or doubt.
Put the oxen to work.
Use that gift. Start that idea. Try. Even if it’s messy at first — that’s where the increase comes from.
Your productivity and purpose are tied to your willingness to act on what God has already placed within you. 💪🏽
