What happens when curiosity is given room to grow?
Last weekend, one of our youngest Code Club participants, proudly presented a project he created using Scratch. What stood out was not just the coding, but the creativity behind it. He thoughtfully used surprise, reaction, and curiosity to make his project engaging and fun.
Moments like this remind us that young children are capable of far more than simply consuming technology. With the right support, they can become creators, problem-solvers, and storytellers.
A special thank you to our volunteer mentor for patiently guiding and encouraging our young coders, and to his parent for the consistency and commitment it takes to show up week after week. These moments are only possible when communities, volunteers, and families work together.
We’re proud to be part of a growing movement championed Raspberry Pi foundation and others, helping young people develop the confidence to create with technology, not just consume it.
Well done, young creator. We can’t wait to see what you build next.
