People with mental health conditions are often judged because of stigma and lack of awareness. They may be labeled as “weak,” “unstable,” or “dangerous,” even though mental illnesses are medical conditions, not personal failures. Society sometimes expects them to “just be strong” or “snap out of it,” which ignores the real challenges they face. This judgment can lead to discrimination, social isolation, and fear of seeking help. As a result, many people hide their struggles instead of getting the support they need, which can worsen their mental health.
