On 20th–21st May, 2026, the Accelerated Family Improvement Initiative (AFII) NGO hosted a powerful seminar on “Family Life Education for Nation Building.”

The seminar served as a platform to enlighten participants on the critical role families play in building a morally sound, peaceful, and progressive nation.

In attendance at the seminar were students, teachers, parents, senior lecturers and professionals from federal university of lafia, Commission for Health (represented), Commissioner for Education (represented), NDLEA officers, etc.

Through engaging discussions and practical insights, attendees were encouraged to become agents of positive change within their homes, schools, and communities.

The program highlighted:
🌱 The value of good family relationships
🌱 The impact of economic invention on the welfare and sanctity of the family
🌱 The role of parents in raising responsible and value-driven citizens
🌱 Understanding emotional and mental health of young people for nation building
🌱 Substance abuse and youth development for nation building (causes & solutions)

At AFII, we believe that nation building begins at home, and empowering families is key to creating a brighter future for society.
