So while I stepped out from a conference hall to make a very quick & urgent call at a Hotel Lounge in Abuja, then--- boomđź’Ą---- I stubbled on Otse Vincent ( VDM Snr) who was equally walking towards the hotel lounge to handle some personal task and business.

We Had and Exchange some pleasantries, take some photos and head to our various paths.

Within the few minutes spent, I can say "Man" is really cool especially when his spirit aligned with you.

➡️ Position: CLM Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (M&E)
đź“Ť Location: Nasarawa State

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead data collection, entry, cleaning, and validation to ensure accuracy and quality
- Develop and maintain tools, databases, and frameworks for tracking project indicators.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders to identify trends and gaps.
- Conduct field visits to verify data, monitor project activities, and identify challenges in service delivery.
- Train community volunteers, peer educators, or project staff on data collection and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with communities and partners to ensure user perspectives are included in service improvement.

Skills and Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Public Health, Social Sciences, or related field.
- Experience: Generally 1 year in M&E, with specific experience in CLM community-based monitoring or health programs.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., MS Office/Excel), database management, and electronic reporting systems
- Competencies: Strong report writing, attention to detail, and ability to travel to field locations.

In the fight against terminal viruses and infection, the Global Fund have played immense contribution through capacity building/ Training of community healthcare service providers, reinforcing and establishing prevention mechanism and responding to outbreak or issues relating to Gender Base-Violence and Human Right.

Moreso, In combating and mitigating the contractions of infection such as HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis(TB) & Malaria, the Ihv Nigeria has also banked upon itself to Care to the vulnerable communities "most especially" the KEY POPULATION (KP) through Provision of service to affected persons and extensive Treatment to TB-Index Persons and People Living with HIV/ AIDS in Nigeria with partnership and support from Global Fund.

To achieve a collective Goal of a healthy-safer society; Nepwhan HQ , Shield For Women and Youth Empowerment Foundation , Olive Right & IYCD carried out a CLM-Stakeholder Engagement meeting with SASCP Department & Nasarawa State Agency for Control of AIDS (NASACA) to solidify, partner and address healthcare issues facing the KP in Primary Healthcare Centres (PHC) and services delivery to achieve Client better experience and satisfaction "most especially " to the Key-Population Community/ Topology.

"One very component of humanity that requires attention is HEALTH. As without it dream and goals becomes difficult in ones life".

In our mandate as NGO & Community Health Service Providers, we take cognizant of key and common health issues such TUBERCULOSIS, MALARIA, HIV & AIDS as a priority due to data revealed by World Health Organization in 2023 that an estimated 10.8 million people fell ill with TB worldwide, including 6.0 million men, 3.6 million Women and 1.3 million children which Nigeria accounted as one of the countries with High TB Burden.

In fighting against the disease, Carried out an advocacy Visit to the NURTW (Motor Park) with the aim to sensitize, raise awareness and carryout screening as-well-as test among the motorist and other road users in searching the Missing TB.

During the exercise, over 80 persons were able to be reached, 70 persons screened and 52 persons identified as TB Presumptives. Sputum samples were collected and taken to GenXpert Lab site for testing.

HIV & AIDS test was also integrated during the Outreach program for persons & individual to know the status.

Conclusion:
When cough persist two weeks , quickly go to the nearest PHC or facility for Sputum test. Among other symptoms of TB are Chest pain, weight loss, excess night sweat.
