FELLOW CITIZENS OF NASARAWA STATE, BROTJERS AND SISTERS.

We stand today at the crossroads of truth and destiny. As we look ahead to the 2027 governorship and general elections, let us speak plainly: Lafia, the capital of Nasarawa State, is the true determiner of who will lead this state. No one can rise to governorship without the massive support of Lafia Local Government Area. This is not politics; it is reality.

Do not allow selfish or unprofessional politicians to deceive you with empty promises or imaginary strategies. Without Lafia, their ambitions will collapse. Without Lafia, they will lose and cry. History has shown it, and time will prove it again.

This association Lafia Unity and Development Forum, does not speak from bias or hidden agenda. We speak from truth. And truth, even if denied, will stand firm. When regret comes, it will not heal the pain of failure, it will only deepen the wound.

Therefore, we advise all who seek leadership: approach Lafia with a clear heart, not with envy or jealousy, not with hidden motives. Respect the people, honour their voice, and build genuine support. Only then can true transition and progress happen in 2027.

Brothers and sisters, let us unite in wisdom. Let us guard against deception. Let us remember: without Lafia, there is no victory. With Lafia, there is hope for a brighter Nasarawa.

Thank you, and may truth guide our path.

🚫 **NASARAWA YOUTH: DON'T BE USED FOR POLITICAL VIOLENCE**

Our future is bigger than any political party or candidate.

Do not allow anyone to use you to attack, threaten or destroy the future you will eventually inherit.

Support your preferred candidate peacefully. Vote according to your conscience and respect the choices of others.

**Your life and your future are more valuable than politics.**

🤝 **A CALL TO OUR POLITICAL LEADERS**

LUDF calls on political leaders across Nasarawa State to speak against violence and encourage their supporters to conduct themselves responsibly.

The words of political leaders carry great influence.

At this critical time, our people need **peace, security, development and responsible leadership**.

Let us put Nasarawa first.

🕊️ **POLITICS IS NOT WAR**

Political differences are normal in a democracy. Violence is not.

We may belong to different political parties and support different candidates, but we remain brothers, sisters, neighbours and citizens of the same state.

Let us disagree without hatred, campaign without violence and compete without destroying one another.

**Nasarawa belongs to all of us.**

📢 **A MESSAGE TO ALL POLITICAL SUPPORTERS**

Support your candidate with facts, ideas and constructive arguments.

Do not insult, threaten, attack or provoke those who support another candidate.

A political victory achieved through violence is not a victory for the people.

**Let our politics be a competition of ideas, not a battle of enemies.**

LUDF CONDEMNS POLITICAL VIOLENCE IN LAFIA

Lafia Unity and Development Forum (LUDF) strongly condemns the reported attack involving the wife of APC Governorship Flagbearer, Senator Aliyu Wadada, at Lafia Roundabout.

We have no place for political violence, intimidation or attacks on individuals in Nasarawa State.

Politics should be about ideas, policies and service to the people—not violence.

**LUDF calls for peace, restraint and respect for human life.**

A food for thought

📚🇳🇬 A painful reality about our education system…

For the past 10 years, not a single student from a public secondary school has appeared among the Top 10 highest JAMB scorers nationwide.

Across all 36 states + FCT, with over 23,550 government-owned secondary schools, this is deeply alarming.

What does this tell us about the state of public education in Nigeria? 🤔

• Poor funding?
• Lack of facilities?
• Weak policies?
• Neglect of teachers and students?

If nothing changes, the gap between the rich and poor in education will only keep widening.

🇳🇬 Our public schools need urgent revival.

What do you think is the major problem — and the solution? 👇
