The Board and Management of the Ugwumba Center for Leadership Development in Africa hereby celebrate with our President, His Excellency, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu on his 50th birthday.

Your Excellency, these are 50 years of remarkable impact across Africa and we are happy to be associated with you.

With your sterling leadership qualities, we have in just 7 years transformed the lives of over 20,000 youths and women in and still counting.

Today, we have raised over 7,000 young entrepreneurs across the 36 States plus the FCT who have created jobs for other youths, thereby helping to reduce the unemployment crisis in Nigeria.

Minister for Youth Development Olawande Emmanuel Ayodele Receives Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) Leadership.

The Honourable Minister for Youth Development, Comrade Olawande Emmanuel Ayodele , received in audience the leadership of the Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN), led by its National Speaker, Rt. Hon. Famuyibo Oluwasegun.

The meeting focused on fostering strategic partnerships to drive youth development across Nigeria. Both parties explored collaborative initiatives aimed at empowering young Nigerians and promoting positive change.

The YAN leadership commended Engr. Olawande for his remarkable efforts, accessibility, and continuous engagement with young people. They reaffirmed their commitment to sensitizing Nigerian youths on the importance of aligning with government initiatives designed for their development and empowerment.

This engagement underscores the shared commitment of the Ministry and YAN to advancing policies and programs that will benefit Nigeria’s youth.

Youth Assembly of Nigeria Passes Vote of Confidence on Kogi State Commissioner for Youth, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe

The Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) has today passed a vote of confidence on Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe, the Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the youth development sector.

This vote of confidence follows Hon. Anyebe’s remarkable efforts in fostering youth empowerment, creating employment opportunities, and supporting various youth-led initiatives in Kogi State. The Youth Assembly expressed its appreciation for his tireless work in improving the lives of young people within the state, particularly through the creation of programs aimed at skill development, education, and entrepreneurship.

In a statement, the Kogi State National Youth Ambassador of the Assembly commended the Commissioner for his leadership, commitment, and passion for youth development, adding that his tenure has been marked by numerous milestones that have positively impacted the youth community in Kogi State.

“The Youth Assembly of Nigeria is proud to support Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe for his exceptional leadership and dedication to the advancement of youth programs in Kogi State. We are confident that his efforts will continue to bear fruit for the young people of the state,” the Ambassador stated.

Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe, in response, expressed his gratitude to the Youth Assembly for the recognition and pledged to continue working towards creating a brighter future for the youth of Kogi State. The passing of this vote of confidence further strengthens the relationship between the Youth Assembly and the Kogi State government, paving the way for future collaborations in advancing youth development initiatives.

The visit was attended by the Kogi State National Youth Ambassador Engr Mustapha Hassan Obaje, The Kogi State Youth Assembly Speaker Rt. Hon Bologi Muhammad Yaba, and his Deputy Rt. Hon. Yakubu Aze Mommohjimmoh, the immediate pass Speaker and the Chief of Staff to the Ambassador Rt. Hon. Theophilus Ogunyomi, and other Principal officers and members of the Assembly.

BREAKING: GOVERNOR Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo APPROVES #72, 500 MINIMUM WAGE FOR KOGI WORKERS.

…..suspends tax burden on the approved sum for one year

Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has approves seventy two thousand five hundred Naira Minimum Wage for Kogi Civil Servants with Immediate effect.

The Governor also suspended tax burden on the approved sum for one year.

Governor Ododo made this known during the unavailing of the 70 thousand Naira minimum wage after signing the agreement.

Governor Ododo said the new Seventy Two Thousand Five hundred Naira minimum wage should take immediate effects to enable the wage cope with the current situation in the country.

The Chairman Minimum wage Committee, Mr Elijah Evenemi said the agreement on the minimum wage is not a victory for any political party but for the good of the masses.

He appreciated the governor for giving the committee free hand to operate and achieve a common goal
