Baye Child Foundation in partnership with BudgIT Foundation continuous Strengthening Community Engagement and Accountability for Primary Healthcare Project (SCEAP) in Kaduna Central Senstorial District. During our monthly activities, we engaged Primary healthcare Sabon Gari Nasarawa as part of our effort to enhance healthcare service delivery. This time around it was the WDC in collaboration with the ever supportive Councillor of the said ward facilitated grading of the bad road leading to the facility. This has been a long term project that was abandoned until this moment. Community members and the facility workers were joyous as work commenced in ernest. On behalf of BudgIT Foundation and our Donor Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, we sincerely thank and applaud the level of synergy being demonstrated between the host Community and the Facility. Finally, we appeal to communities to take ownership of their Primary Healthcare Centers(PHCs) because PHCs workers are trained to serve their immediate communities. Go to your primary healthcare today for better services or make a donation because they're in need or better still encourage community members to patronize it. It's ours! We own it. We support it!

In continuation with Strengthening Community Engagement and Accountability for Primary Healthcare Project (SCEAP) in Kaduna Central Senstorial District, Baye Child Foundation during her monthly community engagements with Primary healthcare Bayan Dutse Narayi to enhance healthcare services, congratulates the facility Manager for keeping to standard. The facility which has been agitating for an AMBULANCE eventually got a Brand New one from FAROF in Collaboration with the TY Danjuma Foundation. A donation that was meant for General Hospital Sabon Tasha Kaduna but was later delivered to PHC Bayan Dutse after a thorough assessment of the Facility. We hereby, appeal to communities to take ownership of their Primary Healthcare Centers(PHCs) because PHCs workers are trained to serve immediate communities. *BUDGIT SCEAP PROJECT, KADUNA CENTRAL SENATORIAL DISTRICT: BAYE CHILD FOUNDATION HELD TOWN HALL MEETING ON 15/08/2023*

BCF team had a community Town Hall meeting today at Bayan Dutse, Narayi Community in Chikun LGA, Kaduna Central Senatorial District of Kaduna State.

The meeting took place at the instance of the District Head of Narayi Bayan Dutse Community in his Royal Palace.

The lead CBO - Tofedam Care Initiative was among the participants at the meeting who played a supervisory role.

Also in attendance were the WDC EXCOSm, Women and Youths Leaders, representatives of PWDs, the 2IC who represented the Facility manager, Stakeholders which includes Women and Men and religious leaders were fully represented.

Indeed, the Town Hall meeting was a huge success.
