2026 Menstrual Hygiene Day: AMG Foundation Donates Sanitary Pads for NiMSA SCORA Health Outreach

Monday, 25 May 2026 – Ahead of the 2026 Menstrual Hygiene Day commemoration, the Aminu Magashi Garba Foundation (AMG Foundation) donated sanitary pads to the Nigeria Medical Students’ Association (NiMSA), Standing Committee on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Including HIV and AIDS (SCORA), under the Bayero University Medical Students’ Association (BUMSA).

The SCORA menstrual hygiene awareness outreach is aimed at reaching 200 students of Government Girls Secondary School, Goron Dutse, Kano.

While presenting the menstrual hygiene items to the association, the Director of Operations of AMG Foundation, Mallam Jalo Sulaiman, reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote public health and improve the wellbeing of communities in the state.

The menstrual hygiene items were received by Amina Shu’aibu Hamza, Local Officer, SCORA-BUMSA, and Muhammad Adamu, President of BUMSA.

Ahead of ARD AKTH OGM, AMG Foundation Donates Items for Health Outreaches:

Friday, 22nd May 2026 – The Aminu Magashi Garba Foundation (AMG Foundation) has donated soap and detergent to support the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD), AKTH Chapter planned activities for the National Association of Resident Doctors’ Ordinary General Meeting (OGM) and Scientific Conference, “Pyramid City 2026,” scheduled to hold from 31st May to 4th June 2026 in Kano.

As the host chapter for the 2026 OGM, ARD, AKTH has organized a series of social impact activities, including health outreaches to vulnerable centres, to reflect the association’s commitment to public health and social responsibility.

The sanitary items were formally received on behalf of the chapter by Dr. Bello Aminu Bello, President, ARD AKTH Chapter, and Dr. Isah Tijjani Dawaki, Immediate Past President of the association.

The AMG Foundation remains committed to supporting initiatives that improve public health, strengthen community welfare, and promote collaboration with professional associations across Nigeria.
