GORON DUTSE CORRECTIONAL CENTRE @ 100 YEARS 🎉

Yesterday marked a remarkable and historic milestone as the Goron Dutse Correctional Centre celebrated its 100 years of existence, a century of service, reform, and commitment to nation building.

The colorful occasion was graced by distinguished personalities from different walks of life, and among the special guests was Amb. Bara'u Junaidu Muhammad, Sardaunan Matasan Sharada, whose presence added great value and honor to the event.
As one of the invited speakers, Amb. Barau Junaid Muhammad delivered a powerful and inspiring address that emphasized:

✅ The importance of correctional institutions in societal development
✅ The need for collective support towards rehabilitation and reintegration of inmates
✅ The role of youth in promoting positive change and humanity

His speech was not only motivational but also a call to action for well-meaning individuals to contribute their quota to nation building through compassion, inclusion, and support for correctional services.
In his usual humanitarian and youth-supportive manner, Amb. Barau Junaid Muhammad further demonstrated his generosity by:

💰 Donating the sum of ₦150,000 to the organizers of the centenary celebration to support the success of the historic event.

💃 Supporting culture and entertainment by gifting ₦20,000 to the Qoroso Dancers, whose performance added color, energy, and traditional beauty to the occasion.

🎊 On behalf of Amb. Bara'u Junaidu Muhammad, Sardaunan Matasan Sharada, we sincerely extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who honored us with their presence at the wedding ceremony of His sister, which took place earlier today.

We are deeply grateful to the distinguished guests, leaders, and stakeholders who took time out of their busy schedules to grace the occasion. Special appreciation goes to Hon. Mukhtar Ishaq Yakasai (Jagora), Adamu Mukhtar Unguwar Gini (Protocol),Hon.Sani Fata (APC chairman KMC), Hon Aliyu Last done (Counsilor Sharada ward), Hon. Salisu Horo Sharada, Hon. Bashir Sanata (Secretary, KMC), Alhaji Yusuf Yakubu Me leda, Hon. Yusuf Sharada (SSA to the Governor), Hon. Habu PA Sharada, as well as senior security personnel including DPO Bilya and DPO Abdulrahim, alongside many other respected dignitaries, friends, associates, and well-wishers who were present.

AMB. BARA’U JUNAID MUHAMMAD HONOURED AS A PEACE AMBASSADOR

In recognition of his continuous efforts toward promoting peace, unity, and community development, Ambassador Bara’u Junaid Muhammad (Sardaunan Matasan Sharada) has been officially conferred with the Peace Ambassadorial Award 2025 by the Arewa Peace Ambassadors Forum (APAF).

The award ceremony was initially held in Abuja a few weeks ago, but due to his tight schedule, Amb. Bara’u Junaid Muhammad was unable to attend in person. However, in a remarkable show of respect and acknowledgment, officials of the Arewa Peace Ambassadors Forum paid a special visit to his office yesterday to personally present the award and officially confirm him as a Peace Ambassador.

This honour stands as a testament to his unwavering commitment to peace building, youth empowerment, and humanitarian service. His leadership continues to inspire many across Arewa and beyond, fostering hope, tolerance, and development in our communities.

Congratulations once again to Amb. Bara’u Junaid Muhammad (Sardaunan Matasan Sharada) on this well deserved recognition. Your dedication to peace and progress remains a beacon for the younger generation.
