PEACE AWARENESS OUTREACH IN NJOBOLI COMMUNITY, ADAMAWA STATE.
As part of its commitment to promoting peaceful coexistence and community development, the World Human Rights and Peace Commission (WHRPC), Adamawa State Chapter, conducted a peace awareness outreach in Njoboli Community.
During the engagement, WHRPC officials sensitized youths, students, and community members on the importance of peace, tolerance, and unity in building a stable and prosperous society. Special emphasis was placed on the need for young people to remain peaceful, responsible, and law-abiding, particularly during this election period.
Participants were encouraged to resist all forms of violence, hate speech, and actions that could disrupt the peace of their communities. They were reminded that lasting development can only thrive in an atmosphere of peace, mutual respect, and understanding.
The outreach also included a courtesy visit to the Hakimin Njoboli, where the team paid their respects and reaffirmed the Commission's commitment to promoting peace and human rights at the grassroots level.
The World Human Rights and Peace Commission remains dedicated to creating awareness, fostering dialogue, and encouraging citizens to become ambassadors of peace within their communities.
Peace begins with each of us, and together we can build stronger, safer, and more united communities.
