Quote: “A people without memory is a people without a future.” -Mongo Beti
This reflection by the Cameroonian writer reminds us that Africa, with its rich history of civilizations, struggles, and acts of res!stance, cannot move toward the future without reclaiming its history.
To forget the struggles for freedom, the values of solidarity, and cultural legacies is to move forward without a compass, exposing societies to excesses and undermining their collective destiny.
To remember, on the contrary, is to nurture pride, strengthen unity, and build an African future rooted in the memory of its peoples.
