We are pleased to share that following our courtesy visit on April 2, 2026, the Kaduna State Ministry of Education has approved the implementation of the CAPPS project and expressed its commitment to supporting its successful delivery. This marks an important step forward as we work alongside partners to promote safer, more supportive learning environments for children and youths in conflict-affected communities.

In the past few months, we have been able to support several families with financial assistance to strengthen their small businesses, means of livelihood, and emergency medical bills. Beyond these, the support we received has helped teaching vulnerable individuals on healthy coping skills, domestic abuse and serves as our commitment to building better communities. These are just a few pictures from the many lives touched through this initiative, as some cases remain private for dignity and safety reasons.

We are deeply grateful to our partners who make this work possible, especially Mr. Douglas, Dr Patience, Mara Cousin Williams whose support has helped us reach families in real and practical ways.

Together, we keep restoring hope, one family at a time.

Areum Grace Empowerment Center (AGEC) held a community sensitizatio at the Anglican Church Bagado in commemoration of Mother’s Day.

During the program, representatives of AGEC engaged the congregation in a discussion focused on the vital roles women play in sustaining families and strengthening communities, particularly within the context of a morally challenged and rapidly changing society. The session highlighted how women contribute to moral guidance, child upbringing, community stability, and social development.

The discussion also addressed several challenges women commonly face, including social pressures, economic constraints, and safety concerns within the community. Participants were encouraged to recognize and support women’s efforts in maintaining family values and community cohesion.

In addition, emphasis was placed on the important role men must play in fostering a safe, supportive, and secure environment for women, children, and the broader community. The dialogue encouraged shared responsibility between men and women in promoting integrity, protection, and collective well-being within society.

We are proud that one of our team members represented Areum Grace Empowerment Center as a panelist at the Girls' Parliament held in commemoration of International Women's Day organised by Carefronting Nigeria sponsored vy

The panel brought together professional women to engage young girls on the theme “Give to Gain.” The conversation addressed critical issues such as gender-based violence, the importance of reporting abuse, and the realities many survivors face after abuse.
It was also an opportunity to encourage girls to recognize the power of what they can give, their voice, courage, kindness, leadership, and support for one another. When girls give positively to their communities, they also gain confidence, knowledge, opportunities, and a stronger sense of purpose.

We are proud to see our team contributing to conversations that empower girls to rise, speak up, and shape their future.
