A section of women at the an awareness and sensitization session by Areum Grace Empowerment Center (AREUM) during the Women’s Fellowship gathering at ECWA Church, Ungwan Boro, Kaduna.
The session focused on the hidden cycle of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) against women and girls, highlighting often overlooked forms of abuse such as emotional, psychological, economic, and social violence. Participants were equipped with knowledge on recognizing warning signs, breaking the cycle of abuse, promoting healthy relationships, and supporting survivors within their families, churches, and communities.
Together, we can create safer spaces where women and girls live with dignity, equality, and freedom from violence.
