Someone told us about this mummy, and we decided to visit her.

We sat with her. Talked. Encouraged her. Shared a small gift and asked what she truly wanted from us.

Her answer broke us.

She said she just wanted to be able to eat. She didn’t want to go hungry.

That was all.

We were deeply moved and promised to return.

While preparing to see her again, we received the news of her passing. We didn’t know that visit would be our last.

Such is life - fragile, brief, and deeply humbling.

This is a reminder to all of us that kindness should not wait. If you can help today, do it. Tomorrow is never guaranteed.

May her soul find eternal rest.🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️
