“ROOTED IN FAITH, COMMITTED TO COMMUNITY TRANSFORMATION: Highlights from YMCA Kakuri’s 23rd AGM.”

The 23rd Annual General Meeting of YMCA Kakuri was held on Saturday, 7th March 2026, with the theme: “ Faithful to our Christian Identity, Responsive to Today’s Social Needs.” (Romans 12:2 & Colosian 3:17)

The meeting emphasized the importance of impacting the spirit of individuals through Christ-centered values, recognizing that transformed lives lead to meaningful and lasting social impact. Members also reviewed reports on programs, activities, impact stories, challenges, future prospects, and the audited financial report for the year under review.
The AGM provided an opportunity to reflect, review progress, and chart a way forward for 2026 and beyond, strengthening YMCA Kakuri’s commitment to both spiritual transformation and positive social impact.

STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP IN ACTION AT YMCA KAKURI

On 21st February 2026, the Officers of YMCA Kakuri convened for their monthly officers’ meeting, providing an important platform to reflect, discuss, and brainstorm strategies aimed at strengthening the programs and overall impact of the Association.

The meeting also focused on preparations for the upcoming Board of Management Meeting and the 23rd Annual General Meeting (AGM), as officers reviewed key priorities and coordinated plans to ensure effective deliberations and continued progress.

The meeting reaffirmed the officers’ shared commitment to purposeful leadership, teamwork, and the continued growth and development of YMCA Kakuri.
